"Welcome, to Mystifying Forest. I am Thorn, a Timber Wolf and the Guardian of Mystifying Forest. I will always be here if you ever need me, helping newcomers and holding off the corrupted animals that believe I am the bad one. This Forest will always be open to all creatures, big or small, good or bad, timid or aggressive. Remember that and you may come into this place. Make your descision..."
"Run!" That's what your family screamed. That's what they screamed as the tall men came. The men came holding weapons, long sticks with sharp metal points on the end of them. They shot arrows bearing red feathers at you and your loved ones as you all desperately ran for your lives.
What had you done? What had you and your family done to deserve this? These men came with no warning, with no sign. They just came and killed everything in their path. These men felled trees, flowers and plants withered before them, animals scurried from their homes in fear. Even the most noble, the most mighty animals of the world cowered in fear before the men.
You ran away as fast as you could, never once looking back. Suddenly, cries of pain pierced your ears. The cries from your family. Your mother, your father... You ran on, tears dripping down your cheeks, blurring your vision. The mens cries of triumph signalled that they had murdered all your family. You continued on, scared to look back.
Days passed by, and still you continued to run. Suddenly you came across a huge forest, with trees towering high above your head. Stumbling, you fell to the ground as a tall fae ran from the forest. Her pelt was jet black and she picked you up and ran back into the forest.
You was woken by the sweet sound of birds twittering. Opening your eyes, you realized you were in a stone cave. The walls were smooth and you appeared to be laying on soft heather. Looking around, you noticed the fae. She saw you and got to her feet. "Welcome." she said. "I am Thorn, Guardian of Mystifying Forest. You arrived at this place three days ago, weak and exhausted. You may stay, if you wish, or move on from here and find somewhere else to stay. The choice is yours." Her eyes softened as she waited for your reply.
