Ryan shrugged, looking over at her. "It's alright. I haven't gone out much lately, though." He sighed a bit. "The pack seems really quiet..."

Lark: "I agree," she said, "I haven't seen much of anyone around lately. It seems like they all just dissapeared!"

"WE haven't dissapeared!" Sam crowed, hidden above Lark, Ryan, and Zoe. He and Frodo had snuck up on them and listened to their conversation until they found a time to jump in.

Frodo looked over at Sam as he crowed. Frodo was no longer amazed at how much Sam could sound like a bird- especially not after Sam taught him how to do it. Frodo signaled Sam, telling him not to let the others know about his presence.

Seeing Frodo's signal, Sam added (in a normal voice), "Well, I haven't, but Frodo and Death haven't been about recently."

Frodo and Sam remained hidden from view in the trees.

Ryan looked up in surprise, but shrugged after a minute. "Yeah," he sighed. "I feel like I need to hunt, but there's no one to hunt for..." Ryan glanced at Zoe, who was staring out into space. "Zoe, what are you thinking about?" he asked. As she mumbled a familiar name and continued to zone out, Ryan's ears flattened.

Lark: "I could come with you," she offered Ryan. She had not been given a job in quite a while. She then turned her attention back to Sam, still yet to be located.
"How on earth could you lose track of your own brother?" she asked. Those two were inseperatable!

Ryan glanced back at Lark, nodding. "It would be nice to have some company," he agreed. "Though...." Ryan looked over at Zoe. "Hey, can you untie me now? ......Zoe..... Zoeeeeeeeeeee......ZOE!"

Zoe jumped, looking over at Ryan and snapping crossly, "What?!?!" As he motioned to the vines, Zoe sighed and stood up, going over to the tree he was tied to and slashing the binds.

Sam shrugged. He didn't want to give Frodo away, but he wasn't sure what to say. He looked over at Frodo- or, at least, the branch he had been on. Sam started to worry, so he looked about wildly, still not letting those below see him. Frodo was nowhere in sight.

Lark: While Zoe untied her brother, Lark began to look around for Sam.
"Can you come out now?" she asked, "It would be easier to talk to you if I could see you!"

(Where has everyone BEEN? Hey, I see a light... Are we... dead? XP.... Probably at this rate, being as that none of us has done anything since Christmas Eve...)
Sam bolted down his tree, looking for Frodo still, but pretending not to. He was discrete and sneaky, so he hoped nobody would notice the panic rising inside him. "Better?" he asked, a ridiculous grin spreading across his face.

Meanwhile, Frodo had dissapeared because he had scented another wolf who wasn't in the pack- someone who smelled very familiar...

Zoe lazily left the area and padded away, her footsteps soft. She slowly made her way through the forest, heading towards a stream she could faintly hear. After a moment, she arrived at the water's edge, and she started rolling a rock around, clearly bored.
