Jewel wondered where the other dog could of gotten too,"She probably forgot' She sighed, She thought for a minute."I know where some Aloe Vera is, That might help the pain a bit" She walked out of the hole and looked around, She sniffed the air a few times before walking down a rundown street, The smell got nearer and she found a house that reeked of it. She jumped over the fence and found the plant, In the iddle of digging it up and old lady came out the front door and starting throwing things at her, In her fear she only managed to get a few stems of the plant, She jumped back over the fence and ran back to Luke.
"Here, I got you some of this" Jewel puffed, She sat down and crunched a bit of it and smeared it on Lukes paw, Cringing at the taste.

Luke sadly watched her leave, then he stretched. When jewel came back, she pushed something on his paw. He yelped and yowled in pain, "what is that?!" he snarled, trying to tuck his paw under his belly, so jewel couldn't mess with it anymore.

Jewel smeared the last of it on and sat back down and sighed, "There, All done" She bent down and licked Lukes ear to show that it would be alright. "My mother used to put this on me when I scratched myself"

Luke huffed unhappily but licked her face. "what's it called?" he asked gently, standing slightly with his front left paw raised in the air, "I'm thirsty" he complained to jewel.

"Its a plant called Aloe Vera, The humans use it on mosquito bites and other such things" She Got up and said "Anything else Master?" She giggled before running off to find someway to bring water back

Luke giggled and called after her, "food would be nice." he curled up on and cushion an soonfell into a light sleep. He smiled.

Jewel ran down a little alleyway where she had hidden a pile of sausages earlier, Grabbing them she ran back and droped them in front of her little den. She remembered about a little container she had seen in a rubbish bin a few days ago, She trotted to the bin and sure enough it was still there. "These humans never change the rubbish around here" She said to herself, then she ran to the lake and scooped up some water, She slowly walked back, Trying not to drop anything, When she got back she had to crawl o not spill any water. "Hows this Mister?" She giggled

Luke licked her and smiled. He ate some and left 1, then drank half of the water. "you have the rest." he smiled and licked her all over. "you're the best. I'm so glad I have you."

Purdy hadn't felt this happy since she had been here. Now here was Jake, a reassuring a loving dog. Ready and willing to stay by her side... Pudy's tail wagged harder and harder. "this makes me glad glad I was sent to the streets." Purdy whispered into Jake's ear.

Jake smiled and liked her, "I'm glad too." he smiled at we and pawed her stomach, asking her if they could have pups.
