He looked at her in half amazement and confusion. Did she really just throw away her life for his brutality? Then again, he was only reckless when denied on daylight. He turned to look at her better, unsure of what to say as he felt a hint of guilt. Guilt? Him?... Yeah. He did. "Why?" He asked simply, not really sure he wanted to understand her motives.

She walked back in and laid next to the other mare, quite content with the body heat. She nuzzled her neck gently before going back to sleep, hoping that he hadn't gone to indulge in more bloodshed. She knew it was a possibility since her leaving of the stallion and now just drifted to much needed sleep.

"Maybe I have a hint of dark too. I am not givong up the search." Empire replied flatly. She had no idea what just happened. Her eyes drifted to the ground. "I think I just chased off my only affection." She muttered to herself. Empire made small whinny that sounded like a whimper. She gave up the father of her foal and the only affection she had felt for a stallion that barely gave a care. The mare closed her eyes and took a shaky breath. She felt weak suddenly. All of the wounds throbbing at the same time. The one who hurt her the most she wanted to stay with. Her body was sore. Inside and out.

Ashurial the Black//Stallion//Luna, Eclipse, & Empire
He turned to look away for a bit as he thought of everything within those few moments. He had wanted her and came back to seek her, yet now he though she should have stayed away. He shook his mane at his self conflicting mind before he turned to look at her again, over the wounds he had made himself. On a normal day he would have said it was a nice piece of work, but now, in this night of confusion, he saw the pain within. He gave a sigh and licked at her wounds a bit before thudding his head on her neck to follow as he headed back to the falls, his tail lashing to slap her side in a strange form of goodness. It felt strange and a bit fuzzy, not liking it very much at all.

||Animaux||

Animaux pressed himself to go quicker, although he knew he could no longer do so anymore more. He had been running for quite some time, and was parched. The large animal began to pace slower, his head wagging as he glanced around. He would miss Fire Bird, but knew he his mate rest somewhere out of his former herd. Animaux cried out a whiny, his ears shoved forward as he waited a reply. Nothing. A large extent of silence followed, as Animaux patiently waited. Animaux tried again, this time his chest heaved with effort to produce a louder sound.


{May I please ask which mare characters are without mates? LOL.}

(There really aren't mate stuff here. It's normal herds... or so that's what it seems like.... I'll wait for Doncaster on that one. Either way I don't really do mates in horses. And I have Delectable Temptation open now. Her post should be within the last two pages, no more then four.)

Phantom cantered along the bank of a river. She grazed a little every now and then. She scented the air. After awhile she nickered to see who might hear her. She then leaned down to drink the cool water. She flicked her boredly as she did so, spreading her heat scent. She flicked her ear's at the sound of branches snapping but then realized it was just a rabbit in a bush.

"Alright." She replied and grazed against his side. "So where is it?"

He looked at her with equally dark eyes. He lowered his head and nipped at them, herding the mares back to the fall.

The mare hadn't even bothered to go and peak, a natural curiosity in most mares. She zoned out the neighs in the distance and focused on the song of serenity that the water's flow made. She gave a soft sigh and waited for them to return, glad that her scars were hidden by the wall beside her.

Avalon-
Avalon pointed his nose south, "Well, I guess we could start by going this way." He began to walk slowly at first to make sure Eris was coming.

(Oh my goodness! Lul I love how all of my horses are just doing whatever, while everyone else is fighting and whatever... Oh also, would you guys mind showing me where the replies of Dakota and Wayne are?)

(Sorry. This was so far back I forgot of Eris. X( Well I'm moving Temp! War hasn't been posted so I'm freeing her from an Idol conversation.)

She gave him a smile and caught up with a lazy trot. She nuzzled his mane covered neck as she slowed down, not caring about much else at the moment. She gave a light snort and some dist in her nostril and shook her red mane. He seemed like he wasn't sure where it was but it didn't seem to bother her. 'Just another adventure'. She told herself mentally.

Delectable Temptation//Lone-Mare//Nonchalant
The chocolaty mare gave a snort and just walked off as if it she were talking to random coon. She flicked her tail and gave another snort as she felt the cool winds waltz in. She flicked her ears alertly as she cantered through a small meadow.

He looked after the saddened mare shook his mane. He would deal with that later. Although it was getting dark he wondered if he could get to her. He gave a soft snort and walked out of the area quietly, rounding his border and into the trees as he followed the faded scent of the mare and avoiding the other stallion. He spotted her a few yards off and stood there, just watching her rest. He gave a sigh as he looked at her wounds, not very happy with himself. He flicked his ears to the side as he couldn't smell her any more. She had let the other cover her. With a tinge despair he looked up at the blackened sky and back down at the mare. He let his eyes display the wounds within, knowing that the night was now his friend and that he was bound by his own blinded demon. He felt a droplet slide down his muzzle and snorted, shaking it off. A tear? He hadn't given one of those salted devils in a long while and now wasn't the time he chose to release them. He turned and began walking back to his territory through the shadows, not carring to leave his scent behind.

The mare looked up as the other walked back in, glad to see no more wounds on her. She gave her a nuzzle and peeked out, seeing the stallion not there she walked out to get a drink from the chilling water.

(Ashur is so weird. XD Mean and bad by day and all soft and calm at night. lol.)

(Thanks, sorry I whined XD I was just feeling down because my dad was supposed to take me to a car show, and he ditched last min.)

Avalon-
Avalon smirked and flicked his ear, "Well we best set off." He nipped her mane playfully and began to trot, turning himself sideways. He flipped his mane and flicked an ear.

She pulled back as he nipped her mane and raced forward to return the playful gesture, speeding past him to and slowing down with a light buck and soft whinny. She looked back at him with a mischievous smile that dared him to a race.

Empire could see how confused he was. But now she was just hurting. A lot. The black mare followed slowly, feeling like half of her was dragging dead on the ground. Maybe it was not really worth it. Empire nipped at his mane in a grooming fashion. She headed toward the falls but stopped outside. Empire did not want to enter there again. It made her more confused. The mare bent in the night to nibble at the grass just outside. The moonlight gave her a silvery outline as she stood, taking comfort in Soils'scent deep within her pelt. It was unlikely he would ever want to see her again. She did not blame him for that. The foal that she would have she would protect though. Even it was not of the stallion she was now ruled by.

Phantom soon started to canter. She led herself away from the brook, soon she found herself in the wood's watching a herd. (Ashurial's) she tried to back up but soon realized she would surely step on something so she stayed still. Keeping herself quiet.
'I wonder if he's nice?' she thought.
