Beau expects things done right and he expects horses to know their place. Mares are to respect stallions, no matter how much they may hate them. Stallions are pretty much their masters. At least, that's the way it is for Beau. But Beau is actually really lenient and nice most of the time.))

Beau flicked his ears and set his head down to graze, figuring there were enough horses around to signal for danger if there was any. When Beau lifted his head, chewing the frosty cold grass slowly and purposefully, he gazed at the land. This would make a perfect territory, brushing right up against the mountainside. He'd claim a section of the mountain, too, for winters. Beau could see it all planned out in his head. But first, he'd have to drive the other horses away.
