"Ow ow ouch..." Spirit did her best to fall softly. "I..I think I'm fine. They should be back soon. Thanks though." The mare winced and settled on the grass. It was better not to move. A sharp kick relieved her of her worst worry, but did not help. A snort passed through her nostrils as she forced her eyes shut.

Thrill of the Kill
He did not want to move at all,excruciating pain wracking his body with each labored breath.Limping heavily over to a nearby tree he leaned against it and let out a feeble cry to Spirit.Blaze desperately hoped she would come over,as he nor Tango seemed in fit shape to move too far back to where she had lay.Of course,she must be hurting terribly too.

Tango's gaze lingered over Blaze with worry. She twitched her ears and snorted softly. "I'm fine... honestly." She snorted softly, swaying her tail quietly, wanting to get back to Spirit, but she wanted to stay with Blaze as well. Her bloody eye was swollen shut and she could only see Blaze with her good eye.

Personality:
Soul is a crazy case. No one knows when or why she cracks. She just does. For anything from big problem to small, she can find a way to destroy it. With seemingly endless anger, the mare lives alone. No one wants to try and figure her out, so she has grown more and more hardened toward the bands. Mares that are flirty and desperate make her seethe. Most often she will let them know who is boss around here, and it ain't no common day chick. Packing a lot of punch, she is a handful and then some. During heat she will watch the stallions and even take possible interest in one but never bother. Why try? Secretly she is kind and protective, craving affection. She has a million layers of pure hardness over her first for anyone to break throuhg.
History:
First, a racehorse. Her owner was harsh and mean, whipping her on with a vengance. All he ever cared about was fame. Her name was 'Soul of the Nine Circles', her owner believing the devil was inside her. This was only true once he started the cruel training. No affection. No care. Just work. Once dreaded race she bursted from the gates at full tilt. Her fiery pelt blazed in the crowd of thundering bodies. But that was not it. Second and holding steady, her owner grew more competitive. She had to get that first place. HAD to. A sharp pain in her sore flank made her rear and throw a fit. Her legs buckled. She had had it. The tendon in her leg was killing her now she tore it. Her owner rampaging and taking a weapon to her, she whinnied and stuggled to her hooves as gashes formed on her withers. Bucking like a wild bronco she neighed and flailed. Taking her hooves down intentionally on her owner, she gave him something to think about in the ICU. The fiery mare was taken to a vet, them finding the scars from years of abuse. Owner arrested, she was turned to a large ranch. Unable to get along with the horses and getting into countless fights, the mare ran before she could be put down. Now here she is, furious and ready to fight. Finding comfort in Celtic, Soul is beginning to relax.

Wince,groan,repeat.His body hurt.A lot."Are you fine enough to begin-"a wince,a whimper,"to get back to Spirit?"he asked,looking over at his bloodied mare and feeling the familiar fury washing over him.One day he would get that white mare,and only time would tell if he would let the darkness free on her.Time,and patience.Not that there would be much,the stallion was furious that she had injured his mare so badly.

Spirit whinnied loudly and shrilly, beginning to worry more and more. Where were they? Were they okay? Were they? Her ears strained to the voices she craved. Her side was bruised up from tumbling and she twisted an ankle somewhere.

Tango nodded. "She only kicked my eye. She didn't hurt me that badly." As Spirit whinnied. Tango lifted her muzzle and sent a calm whinny back. She snorted softly and nosed Blaze gently. "Are you able to make it back to her?" She inquired.

He nodded,"I'll be fine.Let's just get back."he offered a fakely optimistic grin and nuzzled the striking mare's neck.Blaze then stepped away from the tree and stood at her side.

Spirit heard Tango and held back a desperate cry. She scrunched into the little white blob and flattened her ears. As long as no predators came along, she was fine, right? Right.
