I began to get even more worried, I shouted her name.

Axel flicked his ear, wondering who Arielli was. Whoever she was, she must be extremely important to this stallion. He had hoped that Sam had gotten back to her meadow safely. He had slept laying down for once and as he stood to get up, he shook his mane out.

Arieli:
As Whisper passed the cave I waited more. I waited until he was long gone and still yelling. Then I darted out of the cave and towards where I said I would meet axel. I was sure he didn't see me because he was far off. I made it to the river and waded across.

As Axel grazed e thought he caught a familiar smell in the air, he raised his head and looked around. Odd. He trotted around in circles to make himself heard, he didn't want any surprises.

Arieli:
I get to the other side of the river. "Hello" I say and dip my head. My ears pricked, waiting for a response from Axel. I could hear something. Was it a predator? Or was it Axel? She didn't know but was about to find out.

Axel flicked his ears, "Oh it was you! I'm not going to lie, you scared me. These trees might be nice and friendly, but they do tend to be the ones hiding predators." He smiled at her as he took a few steps toward her.

Arieli looked at Axel for the first time up close and smiled at him. He was handsome. She laughed a bit and said " You scared me too! I thought you were a wolf or something!" she laughed more and sniffed the air. They were good, no wolves around. She smiled at him and shifted on her haunches. She looked at him more and then waited for him to say something.
