Night and Day.
Dark and Light.
Yin and Yang.
There was always two packs, streching back through the mists of time. No wolf knows when they started, or who started them. They just know that in the bigginging, the packs were in balance. The Moon pack and the Sun pack worked together and lived in harmony, in what the ledgends called the valley of peace. Then, one day, it happened. The moon rose while the sun was still high in the sky, and kept on rising, until it stood infront of th sun, with the suns rays suging out behind it. The packs thought nothing of it, thinking it was a sign that Sun and Moon were in harmony, and that the packs should follow their exmple. But there was one wolf who did not. The wolfs name is lost to the mists of time, but in the tales of the pack, he is known as the Demon, for his black pelt and glowing red eyes. He was full of rage and hate, wishing nothing but death on all the woles. He veiwed the eclipse as a differnt sign, a sign that the packs could not live peacefully together. He spread rumors and hate through the packs, and gathered a small following. When the leaders found out, the cast Demon and his followers from the packs, declaring that he betrayed the wish of the sun and moon. This angered Demon. He took his folowers and trained, building a small and vicous pack. In the dead of night, when there was no moon, they attacked. It was a slaughter. The packs had always lived in peice, and were not expecting an attack. They were driven from the valley, and each blamed the other. The settled in a new place, a new valley. But it was not the same. The packs grew distant, arguing, and the peace was slowly shattered. And so it was, though out time. But now, the wolves of the packs that read the signs of the spirts of departed wolves have seen a propchecy. A warning and a sign of hope. The ancestors f the pack have sent a message. The Demon Rises. Sun and Moon must regain their peace. Five wolves of night and day, Five bonds, forged in secrets and made of love shall unite the packs, or the demon shall burn the packs and scatter the ashes.
