he was previously used as a fighting dog, for dog fights. he still has plenty of scars, but most of the wounds have healed. when one gets on his bad side, he is the opposite of gentle and charming. he's brutal and aggressive. however, it is very rare for somebody to get on this side of him.

the reason for skylar's silence, if not natural, is because of her past. she was the runt of the litter, and her mother never cared for her much. she was always quiet, since having ten other siblings can't get you heard, especially when you're the runt. soon after her siblings were adopted out, she stayed, and was then abandoned in a kill shelter when she was a bit older. she was always quiet, no crying, not howling, just quiet. she managed to escaped the kill shelter, however, and always stayed this way.
