Rebekah heard no response from any of her pack members. She let her head drop and sge stared at the ground, sad, alone and completly empty. This was the down side of being a mateless Alphess, there is no one to comfort you when you needed it.

Zote looked down.

Xachos walked back down to the beach. Rebekah was right - he should have the courage to go back to his brother.

Storm's head jolted up. 'Re.. Rebekah? No...' Storm though he was seeing things. 'Wish you could be.. mate.. Sadness.. Never again.. Miss you..'
Storm fainted.

Rebekah sighed and began to cry softly, her tears were silent but she trembled with each one. Bekah rolled onto her side.

Xachos shrugged. He walked round, back through the forest, and he noticed Rebekah on her side. He hid behind a tree. Him, hiding? He thought it was ridiculous, but he did it anyway. Ah. She is probably missing her pack. I probably would. Or not. He thought, before going round her, so she wouldn't see him.

Storm shook himself back awake, and stepped across the border. 'Rebekah.' he said, softly. he lay beside her, and hesitated. 'Are.. Are they treating you well?' he asked. Storm growled as he heard Xanchos. 'Kill me now, Xanchos. That or I will not move.'

Xachos sighed as someone went over his border. He saw it was Storm. "Oh, fine, whatever. Just leave in an hour, or my guards will kill you."

'I'll be gone.' Storm said. He watched Bekah, his eyes creased.

Rebekah trembled for a few more minutes untill she had no tears left to cry. She composed herself and moved back to a lying down position. Suddenly she felt Storm beside her and leant against him a little. "They treat me fine, and don't worry, he won't kill you" she said. Bekah looked back at Xachos and her guards with mild curiosity and interest.

Storm felt his heart rise into his throat. He pressed his nose, ever so gently, into Bekah's ruff. 'I'm glad. I hope you come back..'
