Scarlet Spire walked down a small incline slowly, not wanting to slip or fall, but also unsure about being noticed. But, the pressing longing for company ushered her down. Her gleaming bloody red coat stuck out so boldly against the rich green of the earthy grass. Most horses believed that black horses were those of the devil, but after laying eyes on her their opinions seemed to changed. Her chestnut was so rich and so vibrant and solid, not a speck of white anywhere on her slim bodice. However, it was a coat that showed nothing of her personality. Scarlet Spire was not a demon horse, in fact more the opposite. She continued to walk without thinking much, her hooves digging deep into the soft terra and her body rolling lazily from side to side with each step. But, as she drew closer to what appeared to be lands belonging to a herd, a soft sigh escaped her velvet lips. The bloody mare stopped, still some distance between her and where she figured other equines would be and lifted her small crown. Emitted from her cage was a high, melodic whicker, one that easily revealed her youth and utter innocence. Scarlet Spire lowered her head down some and waited, flicking her beautiful tassels upon her silky carcass, pools of gentle brown searching all about.
"No matter how many deaths that I die I will never forget
No matter how many lives that I live, I will never regret
There is a fire inside of this heart
And a riot about to explode into flames
Where is your God?
Where is your God?
Where is your God?"
