Minna felt the warm sun touch her pale cheek, she had been locked in her cell like room for two days and her master had only just let the light in. She was so close to her escape, but, like always, the guards had caught her and she was taken back to this 'prison cell'. Sighing she pulled her legs closer, they were freezing along worth her arms, face and body. "Stupid man." she mumbled almost silently, "Surely Mordor is better than this place." she added, but having never seen Mordor she sighed.
"Stop the yapping in there!" came a harsh frog like voice. It was her masters and it struck her that he had been listening the whole time.
Groaning she slid down the jagged wall more, 'Properly is though.' she thought sniffing, "Can i please come out? It has been two days, like you said." she begged trembling with cold. He would normally only keep her in there until he needed something, but she had gone all the way down to the bottom layer of Gondor, the farthest she had ever been from her 'home'.
"Fine! But if you wonder off again, i'll have the guards kill you!" he roared unlocking the door.
Springing up Minna flew up the stairs and out of the door, standing in the sun light and breathing in the fresh air. Looking out to the Mountains Surrounding Mordor, her eyes narrowed on Mount Doom. Like every second, it was spitting out lava from devolving the ring and the very land of Mordor. Sighing she looked down on the villages below, 'Time to go on an adventure.' she thought daringly. It would be dangerous, but she had to get away from this prison. One way or another.
Pulling her hood over her blonde hair and pointed ears, Minna made her way down to the market. Then her master would not get suspicious of her, after all, she did not feel like dying today. Keeping a small bag with her constantly, she planned to put food and water in there so she could go on her adventure. But it would be very tricky. Sighing she dodged the people and made her way down to the next floor, 'Only two more to go.' she thought to herself, her heart was in her mouth and every guard made her ump. But they were not after her. Reaching the market she sneakily snuck some apples and a carrot in her bag, along with two drinking holders. Then she made her way down a secret alleyway, to the bottom of Gondor. 'Almost there.' she thought, shaking her heart was beating so hard. Stopping at the end of the path she looked both ways before walking over to the the side, she was almost at a secret hole used in the Great War and it would lead her to the small forest by Gondor. And that was were the great black horse was, she had first met the mighty creature when she was small and had run away for the first time. It had come up to her and nuzzled her wet cheeks, her tears rolling onto it's soft snout. Shaking her head again she carried on, down the steps towards the exit. She was now 14 and had to get out of being a slave, it was killing her in almost every way. Plus she hated it. Hearing the sounds of guards above her she froze, "You go that way, you go that way. We must find the girl." one ordered, gulping Minna ran down the stairs and into the thick forests. Her heart pounding against her chest, she heard the sound of metal armor and ran faster. They were hot on her trail. "There!" one called, running out of energy and breathe she hid behind a thick over-grown tree. The men ran past her and she quivered uncontrollably. 'T-too close.' she thought holding her legs close to her thudding chest.
