Kaelin heard a string of howls. He wanted to howl back, but the bloodlust from the dead prey was on him. He was viciously tearing off large chunks of meat and chewing it a bit before swallowing.
When he was full, he decided to walk around the territory. He enjoyed the sights and the sounds of the forest. He was proud of his pack.

Shay whimpered as ran out of the hollow tree as the bear wandered away from her mothers body. She whimpered and nudged her softly before letting out a pup howl which wasn't very loud

Kaelin was near the source of the pup's howl so he stopped and sniffed the air. Picking up the scent of milk and blood, he followed it. There was a low moan coming from a bear a few miles away, so Kaelin gave it a wide berth.
When he reached a clearing, he saw a dead female wolf and a small pup. He carefully approached, staying upwind so that the pup wouldn't think he was hunting it. He stopped a few tail lengths away and gently spoke to the pup, "Hey. Are you okay?"
