Feather stopped galloping and instead trotted closer to the edge of the meadow. Feather's black coat glinted in the sun as the filly left the meadow. She looked around and swiveled her fine-pointed ears as she listened for any strange sounds.

Knight nuzzled her "You OK?" he asked, looking at her bleeding sides and hair-missing tail

Shadow nieghed to himeself, he loved nature. He came up to a field of wild flowers and dropped, rolling.

Feather could hear hear shuffling sounds and then she whinnied in curiosity. The filly began trotting towards where the sound was coming from. Her ears swiveled as the sound got louder till she peeked through some flowers and saw a colt rolling in the flowers.

Shadow giggled to himself as he rolled. He lay on his stomach and smiled when a blue butterfly landed on his nose "Hello friend" he laughed as he looked at it

Feather tried to stifle the giggle but she couldn't and her musical laugh filled the air. Gasping, she became quiet and shuffled backwards into the flowers hoping he didn't hear her.She was incredibly shy, and she didn't talk much to other foals, especially colts.

Shadow smiled fadded as he heard a laugh. The butterfly flew away when he got up. He moved his ears around, listeneing to the surounding. "Hello?" he called and looked around, hoping it wasn't a predator like a cougar

Feather, not wanting scare him trotted out of the tall grass and into his line of sight. Feather looked down nervously, she pawed at the grass with her hooves. "Um..Hello." sh said in a soft voice.

Shadow breathed out with relieve "Sheesh girl. You scared me to half death" he said and looked at her

Feather smiled when she realized he wasn't cared and she looked up at him. "Sorry, I just didn't want you to see me." she said and swiveled her ears again.
