Akira sighed heavily as she padded from the healer's den. It was always so cold in her den. Now, with a freezeing temperature, she had been forced to escape her icebox of a den. She stood at her den entrance, shivering violently. Her mother had always told her she had a thin coat. She lowered his head slightly and padded to the border of the pack. She started to lope around the boarders. She wouldn't be able to keep warm just standing around. Her ears were flat as she ran, her tail tucked. She was thinking of her mate. She had forgotten again to mask her heat scent, but it didn't bother her... It wasn't like anyone payed attention to her anyways. She started to slow, then stopped and walked back to her den. She started to dig at the snow. She finally got it to where she saw the ground and crawled into the small hole, laying down, although it wasn't much better.

As the brute was padding along pack borders making the scent around territory stronger,he saw A familiar face.He wagged his tail when he realized it was Akira."Hey." he said in a friendly tone,he padded up to her.

Akira poked her head out of the hole. It was as deep as her chest, so she had to re-adjust so she didn't look like she was hideing. "Oh hello Glacier." she said in a quiet tone, but as usual, it sounded like she was in a day dream.

Corin and Jinx traveled on until they reached near a waterfall, and Corin smelled the wolf pack. Stiff-legged, she stopped suddenly,Jinx nearly crashing into her large white frame.
"What is it, Cor?" The tawny male asked.
"There's a pack near here." Corin replied."Should we?"
Jinx's tail began to wag rapidly. "Yes! Yes!"'
The pair had been loners most of their lives, both desperately seeking packs, and now was their chance.
Corin glanced at her pal and took off, white snow flying behind her as the two ran headlong into their new lives.
