Her ears twitched. She hadn't noticed Hawkwing and Snowstorm. She picked up the rabbit and nodded at the two wolfs. Then she padded back to camp. Another snowflake landed on her nose. Gret more snow. Maybe I should set up a gang of white wolfs for snow hunting! She sighed and dropped the rabbit in the little prey pile. Then she turned around and galloped out into the forest.

Ivy sat up. She really didn't want to think about her old pack, it made her feel hopeless and lonely. Trying to distract herself, she pawed at the snow.
Then the wind direction changed. 'Wolf! she started to panic. She didn't smell anything on her way there let alone saw any markers.

Description

|Kage is a black phased gray wolf, meaning that his fur is a brownish grey with an overlay of black. The socks of his legs and his face is black. The tip of his tail is shaded with black and his ears and chest are a dark brown. He's an average height for a wolf and is a little scrawny.| ~"I-i'm not the nicest wolf to look at. I have thick brown fur, except on my face and legs. I have smooth black fur on those. I think it makes me look weird."

Personality
|One of his more noticable characteristics is that he's quiet. He doesn't talk much, but he enjoys a nice conversation. Kage has a habit of stuttering, whether he's nervous or not. He doesn't mind talking to more than one wolf at a time, but when he's crowded around he clams up and quickly leaves the group when their attention isn't directed towards him. Not only is he nervous in crowds, but he is also afraid of fighting. He cowers at the sound of a snarl and will instantly back down or run in fear when threatened. He's so afraid of fights and getting hurt, when he does hunt he doesn't hunt large prey, only the smaller ones. Because of this, he's known as a coward. The one who runs in fear when needed the most. He doesn't mind that title, because he knows it's true, but he's willing to change if he had the chance. He wants to be strong and determined, most of all, he really wants to have the courage to stand up for himself and for those he cares about. He has a soft spot for humans, and while he has lived in the wild he has never encountered a hunter. Because of that, he thinks that humans won't mind your presence if you stay in your territory and cause them no harm. He's heard 'rumors' of humans hunting wolves for fun, but he's never truly believed them. Every interaction he had with a human was never bad, they were alway kind to him and treated him nicely. Of course, only when you don't anger them.| ~"The only word to describe me is coward."
History
|Kage was born and lived almost two years in captivity. He lived in a very small wolf sanctuary, with only his parents, uncle, and two other siblings. His mother was sweet and his father was gentle, two traits that had, thankfully, past onto him, but his uncle, his father's brother, was aggresive and impulsive. Unfortuately, those traits had past to his aggresive brother and impulsive sister.
One day, his sister had attacked their feeder as he was entering the fenced area. His uncle, who respected the feeder who risked himself coming into their territory, went to his aid and charged at Kage's sister. It was too late when he reached them, the feeder had died after falling and getting bitten in the neck. In his rage, Kage's uncle killed his sister.
After that incident, the humans stopped coming in their territory, feeding them by tossing the meat over the fence. Kage's uncle was furious, the humas who worked here frequently came into the caged area to interact with them directly suddenly stopped out of fear. So the large male took it out on Kage and his brother, regularly snapping, attacking, and challenging them over their food. Not to long after, his brother started doing the same, bullying him and stealing Kage's food when their uncle stole his. While this was happening, his parent's influence became nonexistant. His mother had become pregnant again and his father was busy tending to her and keeping Kage's uncle away from their portions.

For unknown reason, Kage's brother thought he could escape and live freely if he jumped the fence of their enclosure. Kage still cared for his brother, even after all of the bullying, and tried to pursuade him not to do something that would anger the humans. But every time, his brother would snap at him and mock him. He said that Kage was like the cage that they were fenced in, trapping the wolf's spirit and turning them into dogs. Something that could never change and blocking everyone else from progress.
The day his brother finally managed to climb the fence was the day he was shot, just outside the fence, by animal control. That was also the day the sanctuary was to be shut down. His parents and uncle were moved to the zoo, they were considered old, close to ten years each. He was thrusted out into the wild, after a few weeks with professional trainers that taught him to hunt. He changed his name to Kage, wanting to start all over while staying who he was. He managed to put most of his past behind him before finding the pack. He is still haunted by his brother's words though, is he really unable to change? He'll never know until he trys.| ~"My history wasn't very happy. I lived in a small human enclosure. My mom and dad were kind, but cared little for us when mom became pregnant again. My uncle was a little mean, but I still saw some good in him. My

brother and sister weren't the nicest siblings, but we had some good times. My sister and brother had both died before I was released. Sister was killed by Uncle and Brother was killed by humans."

Personality:{Full of energy, Enthusiastic, talkative, gentle, and daring.
These are all words that can describe Layla very well. Starting from her energy and enthusiasm. This wolf is a catch to have around- always trying to look on the positive side of things. She's full of energy and dislikes seeing downers, or downright upset dogs. Seeing someone upset just makes her want to comfort them as much as possible, and she will try. She is a rather lighthearted one, gentle in her ways, and always just looking to have a good time. Seeing smiles on others faces makes her happy, to know that others just like herself, her friends and family are alright as well. Another thing, this wolf has constant energy. She's always looking for something to do, to keep busy, to move around.

Talkative and gentle are another two parts of this wolf's personality. Layla is a sweet wolf, from the beginning. She's always up for meeting new faces, and isn't afraid to speak up. She's talkative with others, meaning she'll talk with you if you have no one to talk to, or if you just want someone to talk to, she'll listen. She's very attentive and gentle as well. Sometimes that motherly instinct kicks in, and often times its hard to believe she wouldn't hurt a fly. When someone is in danger however, she does become defensive, and look to protect her family, much like a mother to her pups.

Daring is another word for her. This wolf lives for adventure and finding new things. She loves the thought of travel, and just can't stay in one place for too long, She is a daredevil, as hard to believe as that sounds and she just loves the thrill of it all, though she is a bit afraid of heights. She'll try not to admit that though. Though she is gentle, and sweet, this won't show the moment you meet her. Though it'll grow on you, and soon enough, it will be easy to see her gentle side.

Appearance/Description: Layla is a pretty looking wolf, fair and gentle in appearance- though a daring, fiery wolf at heart. She isn't the tallest, that's one thing- and her build is rather slim and fit. Her legs are slender and well boned, and her fur is of medium length, and a white-gray color, with light brown shades throughout. Her chest is deep and her back is straight and smooth, along with her tail, which is of the same white-gray-light brown coloring, and a bit thicker. Her ears are triangular and velvety to the touch, and her face is fair. Her muzzle is tapering smooth and dotted with a black nose, along with two pretty golden eyes. The fur around her neck, chest and tail is thicker as well and she is quite an agile wolf, built for stamina and speed rather then brute strength. She is well built though and a very strong willed fae at that.
