As the male came closer, August snapped her jaws at him. 'Please... Please just leave me alone.' She weakly turned her head, and as she did, a small trickle of blood ran down her forehead. 'Please don't kill me...' She said managing a weak whimper.

"Well it's nice to meet you Justine." He said, his voice polite. "I'm not sure that I have any questions, even though this is all very new to me I think I have the entire idea of being in a pack down. At least somewhat anyways." He chuckled, "I'm just not the best socializer since well I usually haven't been around wolves, with being a loner and all."

His eyes narrowed at the trickle of blood. Orix then sighed softly, "Somehow I don't think you're in any condition to fight..." He took two step closer trying to get a better look at her injuries, the large bulky brute barely making a sound. "And it is dishonorable for a warrior to attach an opponent who is clearly unable to fight." He said gruffly, before chuckling and speaking quietly, careful of her obvious distress "Maybe some other time..."

She nodded. "I see." She got up and looked around. "Do you still want to help patrol? You can learn the borders in case you decide to again." She suggested.

Ra'halo

Cool... Refreshing... Relaxing.
These are the feelings Ra'halo felt as he dipped his fore-paws into the creek, laying down by the water's edge so that the rest of his would not get wet. The sun beat lightly against his brown shaded fur, allowing him to bathe in the warmth by merely staying in place. He loved the feeling of being warm, and the contrast of the cool water soaking his paws was a neat combination. The wind slowly breezed by, ruffling his fur, cooling it down and allowing more sunshine to hit the other spots briefly.

"Ah, how long have I been here?" he said to himself as he opened his eyes, leaning forward as he back went up, a stretching position. The feeling of his muscles tensing and then relaxing felt wonderful as he slowly rose to a stand, glancing around curiously. He liked to come here frequently, to just clear his mind and rest. Though, he probably should get back to pack business, everyone had their job to do after all. But he felt the desire to be free, with no worries, something that probably can never happen. Not that it bothered him to work, but eh.

He decided it'd be best for him to head back, to go where many of them gathered from time to time, to see what he needed to do, or if he could help out with some patrols and such. His wet paws left imprints on the rocky surface as he padded over it, but it didn't take long for the prints to get weaker and weaker, until his paws were dry. Plus, he began walking on the grass, into the woods to head back. He really wasn't paying attention to where he was headed, he was looking to the ground, thinking closely, until he bumped into a figure.

He took a step or two back, so he could scan who it was he had bumped into, noticing it was a she-wolf from the pack. "My apologies..." He said, tilting his head slightly. "You alright?"

Willa was already slicked back into a defensive position, the sudden encounter upon the brute spooking her. Seeing as though he posed no threat, she slowly relaxed, the hair risen along her back no longer standing. She sat on her haunches, both the scent and physical appearance of the brute familiar. She's seen him before, just not recently. "Yeah. Just caught me off guard." She looked the wolf from the paws up, tipping her head to the side. "Ra.. Ra something. I know your name. I really do."

Her eyes widened. Had he really just said that?He was going to take pity on her? She frowned at this. She had always known Brutes to be horrible to her, including her father... Maybe this male was different. August felt like she needed to make the effort to present herself; She stood, tucking her weak paw underneath her chest and her back legs scrabbled at the dirt trying to balance. Now standing tall, the fae was nearly as large as the brute, her head coming to just above his chin. She made a vague attempt to smile at him weakly... Attempting to 'hop' towards him on her front leg, she looked meekly at him. 'Please, take me to your pack.'

Ra'halo

Ra'halo blinked as he watched her become defensive, her fur bristled and rose, but it didn't take her long to recognize him as a ally rather than a attacker. As she slowly sat down, he was not sure if he was supposed to too, but he didn't mind standing at the moment either- since he had just finished napping. When she said she had just been caught off guard he nodded briefly. "Ah, I see" he snickered, then listened as she could not pull up his full name. "Hehe, it's Ra'halo, but I go by Ra too, so that's fine."
He glanced around for a moment before looking back to her, ears perked. "And your name... Hmm... I am new so I haven't gotten used to all the names..." he said, narrowing his eyes. "Refresh me?"
He wasn't much of a wolf to talk, but after being quiet for so long it didn't hurt to try socializing with someone. He had only been in the pack for a week, so it was not odd that he's hardly spoken to anyone yet.
