But when you come down to it she is very kind and loving and would do anything to protect the ones she loves and cares about.She also likes to make mischief and cause trouble.

Sabrina gave me a comforting lick. I continued. "When the people came, my father told me to warn the others, and when I ran back, they had followed me. My mother attacked one of them and told Konae and I to run. Konae ran, but I was frozen with fear. I saw them point the thunder stick at her, and I didn't say anything! I watched as they shot my mother down..." My voice was wavering now. Maybe this wasn't such a good idea. But now I had too finish. My father saw, and now he hates me... Konae would too, if she found out. I'm the reason our mother is dead." My eyes were narrowed, staring at nothing. I was reliving the moment in my head.

"Run Shotecha! Keep Konae safe!"
My mother's dying yowl. Her white fur stained red with blood.
The look of disgust on my father's face... and Konae weeping.

I mustered up a laugh at this. I sort of was fond of this female, so far. She was sort of like me except -10 times the prissiness. I rolled my eyes at him, hearing what he muttered under his breath but just barely. "Now, if you'll excuse me, I shall be getting back to my pack." I turned on her heels and started headed in the direction of my pack.

I pride myself in being friendly and not territorial but both faes attitudes were starting to get to me. But despite my best judgement, I stayed were I was. As Mayai turns to leave I say "It was nice talking to you," and then I add "Honestly."

I listen carefully and scoot towards him. I begin to lick him again as I thought carefully of the way I wanted to phrase what I was about to say. "I know that this isn't what you want to hear," I say and then pause. "But it really wasn't your fault. Thunder sticks are impossible to stop and humans will stop at nothing to et what they want. You couldn't have done anything, wether you like it or not. And your dad is nuts for hating you. He should be proud of the incredible wolf that you have turned into. You're a delta in a powerful pack and you've been protecting your sister with your life ever since. No one should be mad at you. " I say, meaning every word. Any wolf who could be mad at the male in front of me is crazy.

Shotecha (Sunstar): My eyes, refocus, my breathing steady. The words that Sabrina have spoken to me have struck a chord. Her words played again in my mind. You can't stop a thunderstick. So... It wasn't my fault. I let out a breath of relief. Then I started thinking. My father still hated me. Why? I had no idea. All I knew was that my sister and I had been on our own ever since that day. And now she hated me, too. Everyone I cared about hated me. My sister, my father, if my mother was alive, she might to. Not Sabrina, you idiot! I turned to her now. "You don't hate me." It wasn't a question, really. More like a statement.

I watch as he is slightly comforted and then his eyes once again grow stormy. "Of course I don't hate you. And I'm pretty sure your sister doesn't either." I say softly, nudging him gently with my nose to get him to face me. "If I hated you, if anyone hated you, would we want you around us? Want to be here talking with you?" I say comfortingly.

Shotecha (Sunstar): I nod slowly, letting Sabrina comfort me. I lay my head back down. "I guess your right. Thank You, Sabrina. I feel as if I can really trust you." In the time we have spent together, I have grown fond of Sabrina. I can't help but admire how she listens carefully, offering encouragement when needed. I close my eyes, hoping that this moment will last forever.

I smirked as I heard that my attitude and the other fae's was getting to him. I had done my job. I entered my camp and laid down outside of my den, glancing up at the stars every now and then. I wondered to myself what it would be like to be in love. I never had been and wasn't now, especially with an alpha from another pack, or a flirty male, I despised males like that.
