I'm merely here to enforce it." I snarl, showing my teeth fully and standing to my full height, using my size as a threat. "Now, why don't you just go run along and start your chores? There's a lot for you to do." I smile and turn on my tail. This time, I'm really going to the medicine den. I need to talk to someone I trust...I sure hope Lucero will be back soon.

Xavier laughed again, "No thanks, do it yourself. And yes, we were endangering the pack by leaving the territory. We could have been visiting friends, or for all you know hunting. Yes, very dangerous." He sneered, "Oh and, since I am the only hunter, good luck feeding the pack. Sure, others might be able to hunt a little, but they haven't trained." He growled and turned the opposite direction of Cheyton and padded away from camp.

I call over my shoulder, not carin enough to even look at him. I spot Sage in the medicine den and speed up to a trot. "Hey." I say quietly.

"Who said anything about me being a loner? See your the ignorant one, not listening." Xavier growled, but didn't stop. He was going hunting, and not for the pack, just for himself. "I only listen to Lucero, when he's the one telling me I have to do something, I'll do it. Until then, good luck getting me to do anything for you." He added in as he weaved between the trees of the forest.

Lucero couldn't help laughing and let out a low chuckle. "You seem rather...annoyed at seeing a fellow Alpha. I couldn't sleep. I come here when I need to think, it calms me down. But I could be asking you the same thing." He responded, stepping forward to take a drink of the cool liquid. After drinking his fill, he stood up straight, towering over the female. "So, what are you doing here? You know your not far from crossing into Sunstar's border, right?"

I narrowed my eyes up at him and said "Well, you have crossed your border line and stand on Evergreen property." I snapped. "Fellow alpha?" I said, encircling the male I walked around him in a circle. "You don't look like an alpha," I said, raising an eyebrow at him. "and you don't seem like one either." I said. I stopped infront of him and sat down. "I couldn't sleep either. The pond is my sense of peace, but now you have interupted that peace." I said, and gave him an annoyed look.

I was sifting through the herbs in my den when I heard a voice that made me jump with suprise. I turned and greeted the male. "Hey, Cheyton. What's up?" I asked, offering the male a smile. The healer of the pack was always the most trustworthy, caring, and loyal person of the pack, and that is just what I intended to be.
