Lucero- Sunstar
I lift my head and test the air. It's deep into the night and I haven't even closed my eyes yet. My thoughts are roaming and they continue to force my eyes to stay open. My territory, my pack, the pack's new members, the hopes of pups being born in the spring. I stand up and shake, deciding it would be best to take a walk. I pad to the front of my den and look down the sheer rock face to the camp where all but one of my pack is sleeping. That one is Sabrina, Sunstar Pack's only guard. Silently, I pad down the rocky trail from my den to join her. "How are you feeling?" I whisper.

Sabrina-Sunstar
I had been sitting rigidly in front of the entrance to the camp for hours. My shift was dragging by and I was exhausted. Suddenly, I recognized a new smell as a wolf whispered into my ear. Jumping, I turn to face the stranger. Recognizing the stranger as my packs leader, Lucero, I bow to him. "Hello, sir. I'm doing all right, rather tired. Shouldn't you be sleeping?" I quietly respond, my tail flicking as I try to quiet the quick beats of my startled heart.

Cheyton-Sunstar
Covering my nose with my tail, I close my eyes as a conversation reaches my ears. I shake my head and stand, recognizing the voices as my pack leader, Lucero, and the packs guard, Sabrina. I step around the other wolves sleeping around me and head out into the cold night air. As I trod over to meet them, I bow my head in greeting. When I reach them, I sit myself down. "You two are up late!" I whisper.

Acallia-Pine
I roll-over onto my back, struggling to get sleep to come to me. My thoughts are wandering around but I'm exhausted. Rolling back onto my stomach, I look to the wolf sleeping next to me, Pine Pack's Beta, Ronan. He seems to be sleeping, his breaths are even. I sigh deeply, wondering if I should ask for a meeting tomorrow of all the packs in this region. Giving a slight growl, I remember Pine Packs most recent battle against a fellow pack that we had considered allies.

Ronan- Pine
Acallia's growl raises me from my sleep. I lift my head and turn to her. Giving her a gentle lick on the cheek, I move closer to her. Thinking she had a night mare, I do my best to comfort her. "It's alright Callie, the battles over. " I whisper, knowing the subject of her nightmare. In that battle she had lost her mate and a few of her closest friends. Our pack was slowly recovering and growing again but it was obvious that the battle had left deep scars in our leader. Understandably, though. She had suffered many losses in her lifetime. I was her only lose friend left and I'm pretty sure she's afraid of loosing me too.

Maiya
I shivered once again, and then pushed myself to my paws and started out of the camp, bored, unable to sleep and cold. I started down a dirt path and toward the pond. I knew the lake was only 15 feet from the border, but the pond was my heaven. It was always there and was peaceful and quiet and I found it to be calming, also I was a bit thirsty.

Lucero-Sunstar
"Well, you can go to bed, Sabrina. It's alright, nothing's really going on tonight and it's getting late. I'll take over." I respond. Nodding to Cheyton, I nudge Sabrina and watch as she walks to the den. "Hey, Cheyton. I'm going to head out for a run, I'll be back soon, maybe around sunrise. Let the pack know." When he nods, I take off at a comfortable lope towards the pond between Sunstar and Evergreen Pack borders. I stop and lift my head, breathing in the crisp, cool air of the winter night. I recognize a scent from my past but I can't pinpoint who it is. I know it's someone from Evergreen Pack so I continue on. When I finally see the wolf, I recognize her to be the Alpha of Evergreen Pack, Mayai. I pad towards her and sit down, leaving only about a foot between us.

Maiya
I padded up to the pond, and lay down infront of the pond. I dipped my head to lap up the water. I perked my ears at the sound and smell of another wolf nearing me. I felt him in my prescense and whipped my head in his direction, leaping backward and dropping to my haunches in a fighting pose. "What are you doing here?" she snarled. She did not know whom it was, just that it was a member of Sunstar Pack, she could smell it on him. She had not met all of the other alphas and did not know she was in the presence of another alpha.

Lucero- Sunstar

Lucero couldn't help laughing and let out a low chuckle. "You seem rather...annoyed at seeing a fellow Alpha. I couldn't sleep. I come here when I need to think, it calms me down. But I could be asking you the same thing." He responded, stepping forward to take a drink of the cool liquid. After drinking his fill, he stood up straight, towering over the female. "So, what are you doing here? You know your not far from crossing into Sunstar's border, right?"

(Also in my post it said that she was fifteen feet till the border, so she was still on her side, if you can fix that then I'll reply c;)

Silver finally stopped, her fur, mostly on her chest, puffing up in excitment. She panted, then yawned, her yawn squeaky.
