"Wow Sam thats wonderful!" Holly said as her daughter walked up to her with the bird, "You get to eat it, you earned it dear." Then Pebble came back with a mouse in his mouth "Look mommy! I got a mouse" Holly looked at the mouse "Wonderful job Pebble" Then Clover came back with a fish. "I got a fish?" "Great Clover!" Holly licked all of her pups on the head, "Your daddy would be so proud!" Then Frost walked back carry leaves, cat-tails, rush's, and water mint. "Look mommy!" Frost said, stumbling as she bumped into a stone, "I got herbs that we could use!" Holly looked at her pups with love "wonderful Frost we can use those."

pebble put down his mouse and looked at holly' when is dad coming home mom?' he asked looking at the sky the sun was melting into the horizen the moon starting to show.

sammy laid on the couch his owners petting him he had been with his new family for a week he had been working on a hole in the back yard ,he got up and whined chris his owner opened he back door he raced out and ran to the hole and began to dig fanilly the hole was big enough he went around the shed and played ball for the last time with chris when chris went inside sammy ran to the hole and got out he had left his colloar in the middle of the yard with the ball . sammy sniffed around padding in the direction of his old home he was goig to see his family once again it had been almost two months ....

samantha lay down in her nest letting her mom tal with her siblings out side.

Holly felt her daughters pain and look at Pebble, "I'm sure he will be back soon my son." she sat in the clearing and gathered the pups around her. "Do you guys want to hear a story?"

the pups all looked up and screech 'yhea mommy !'

"I'll tell you about the time when I met your father, I lived in this clearing all my life with my mother, But she was taken by humans when I was about your age and I didn't know how to hunt or take care of myself in anyway. You know your father is older then me right? Well he found me cold and starving, and took care of me. But he loved me and I loved him. When I was old enough we became mates, a few months passed and then I found out I was expecting you guys, he was so happy. He was with me every step of the way." Holly finished her story on a happy note, she wanted the pups to be happy.

all the pups smiled clover looked up at holly 'how much older is daddy?' he asked curiously

samantha smiled to her self at the story she curled into a tight ball and fell asleep

Holly began to think, "about 4 years older I would have to guess." she looked down at her pups who were curling up and going to sleep. "Good night my angels. Dream pleasant dreams." she curled around them and looked into the entrance. "Return soon my love." Then she fell asleep.
