Rose padded restlessly around a tree. She heard the squirrel scrambling up the slippery bark. The squirrel falls and Rose pounces on it. "Finally, some---" Rose gets pinned to a tree by a bear. "Help!" She whimpers, not very loud.

"Did you hear that?" Karma says, scrambling to her feet. "Did you hear that, Jase? I swear I heard a-" A faint whimper reaches her ears. A pup-like whimper. "Come on, Jase, we've got to help the poor thing!" she yelps, taking off in the direction of the whimpers.

The bear starts roaring. Rose reaches for its enormous muzzle and manages to claw its eye. "Help!" Rose howls, as loud as she can. "Help me!" She manges to howl before blacking out.

With her only care at the moment being saving the poor creature, Karma speeds up, leaving Jase in the mud. With the rain, she can barely smell anything. Blinded by the rain, Karma runs straight into the bear without knowing its there. It claws at her face, and she stumbles back, but manages to grab the pup's scruff. Her eyes dart around, and she locates fallen trees. The bear reaches out in fury, and manages to scrape Karma's rump. Hastily, Karma makes her way into the little hut formed by the logs. She places the pup down, and when she hears the bear claw at the wood, hopes it'll soon loose interest and leave.

Rose whimpers, looking around. Her eyes barley open, she is already scattering raindrops everywhere. "Della..." she whimpers. She looks up and sniffs the air. "Della!" she whimpers. The bears clawing immiedtly stop, and a racoon is flung into the hut. "Della...?" whimpers Rose, rubbing against the dead body. Rose looks at her tail. "Mommy..." she whimpers...

Raiden nodded to Karma. His pale eyes gleamed lightly and shifted to Jace as he padded up. He eyes him suspiciously and snorts lightly. They think i don't know... About them. They don't know i was watching when he confessed his love for Karma. The thought ran through his head and he shifted his weight. The large muscular brute shook out his neck fur. His muscles rippled and shook as he did so, sending shock waves down his neck and upper shoulder. Raiden began at a soft lope as he headed for the Falls.
Soon the greenery went past in a blur as Raiden shot through the forest. His cheek fur blew back in the wind, and his fur rippled like a field of wheat. Leaves scattered in his wake as he ran. The distinct white fur on his shoulders prickled as he heard a yelp. A pup yelp. What? There are no pups in our pack... Unless... No, Jace and Karma did not have a pup. Im sure of it. Thoughts danced through his head. Then he heard a high pitched howl sound off in the distance. A pup in distress? This is why i joined the force. The scent of bear suddenly stung his nose. More importantly, there is a bear in my territory. He growled and abruptly changed direction. He sent leaves and dirt flying as Raiden dug his claws into the earth.
A bear was the first thing that caught his eye. Then he saw Karma, huddled under some logs. A battle cry sounded from the Lead Fighters maw and he flung himself at the bear. Raiden sank his long fangs into the bears shoulder flesh and shook. The beast roared with fury and reached for Raiden, trying to shake him off. Raiden jumped off, and bellowed out curse words, trying to get the bears attention. "Come at me!" He roared and bounded backwards, luring the bear away from Karma and the pup.

Karma looks at the raccoon. She looks at the limp body and cringes. After glancing at the pup, she nudges her cautiously. "Where are you parents?" she asks carefully. Hearing something outside, she pokes her head out. A huge smiles of thanks dances on Karma's lips, but it quickly retreats as Karma yelps, the cut on her face stinging from her stretching it into a smile.

Rose watches Raiden, confused. "Why would he lour himself into danger?" Rose asks. Then, Rose feels the pulse in her heart beat and a familiar scent. "MOMMY!" She yelps, trying to release her grip from Karma's.

Karma's brow furrows in confusion. She pads out of the den. "Do you think it could be crazy?" she whispers under her breath to Raiden, knowing there are no other wolves except her pack around.

Rose Instantly runs at the dead bear, pretending to claw and fight it. "Look at me!" Then, Rose makes an enormous jump up a tree, jumping of the branch and landing on the bear lopsidded. "Oww..."
