Mikaela rushed towards Charlotte and picked her up, she was quite large, but not heavy. ''Eh.. sorry'' she muttered. ''I never put Charlotte on a leash, she's really friendly, no chasing cats or anything. Most horses aren't scared of her but, next time I'll make sure she doesn't get near Parker'' Mikaela smiled a bit and stroked Charlotte's fur so it wouldn't get into her face.

Charlotte whimpered in protest when Mikaela picked her up, her tail thumped against Mikaela's stomach. She relaxed slightly when her owner stroked her.

Jeremy smiled and gave Charlotte a gentle pat on the head. She really was a cute dog. He turned his attention back to Mikaela, still offering a friendly smile.
"I'm glad I was there. Parker is kinda sadistic with dogs." he said, half joking and half serious. The brown mule was pretty violent with them. He wasn't sure if mules were even capable of sadism.

Mikaela laughed ''sadistic? Wow okay then''. She put Charlotte down and looked at her dress, she picked out any white fur left over from her dog. ''Well I gotta go and get Autumn tacked up, we're going for a trail ride'' Mikaela said, cheerfully, she added over her shoulder ''you could come if you want''. She approached Autumn and stroked her nose, gently.

Charlotte wagged her tail, she rubbed against Jeremy's feet, before trotting off, after Mikaela. She barked at Autumn, who in return just gave an amused snort.

"I'd be happy to go with you. Is your dog coming with?" Jeremy asked, opening the stall again to finish grooming Parker. He managed to get his fluffy, dark coat looking clean, then carefully put the tack on. A red blanket with a lightly colored western saddle was fine for a trail ride. He began searching around for his bitless bridle, and managed to dig it out of his grooming bag.

''Nah, normally she would but she would just get in Parker's way don't you think?'' Mikaela looked down at Charlotte, just sitting there, she shook her head slightly. Mikaela lead Autumn out of her stall and tacked her up quickly, she lead her out of the barn and mounted up, waiting. ''Which trail should we take? Forest, plains, waterfall? Lake?'' she called, thinking about where they could go today.

Charlotte panted, she looked up at Mikaela and looked more subdued when she realised she wasn't coming with them. But there where lots of fun stuff she could do here too.. she started wagging her tail again, before padding away.
