Shadow
It took the smallest rustling in the bushes to catch his eye. He could easily see the leaves moving from the small fuzzy creature exiting the bush. He could smell it- rabbit. He narrowed his amber-red eyes, scanning the clearing in an almost curious way, then his eyes settled back, he watched the rabbit jump out of the bush. He was downwind of it, luckily. He lunged, then jumped at it. He pinned it to the ground, his eyes narrowed, he bit it cleanly on the neck and it died. He padded to camp and set it in the pile quietly. He walked over to his den, and sat down quietly, licking the blood off of his teeth.
Quitting.
