Rowan's eyes watered at the pain and he glanced around seeing Anicka walking away he followed quickly. Shaking his head more violently he yelped. "ow ow ow!!!" he barked trying to lick his lip.

Shira laughed, "Aww thanks" she said and licked his cheek

Anicka

"go to your dad rowan!" she said before nipping it's paw again "i will keep it distracted" she said and bit it again, knowing that it would soon get her like it did rowan.

the angry Porcupine scooted up a tree and snorted looking down at the wolf. no way it was coming back down now.

Rowan nodded and trotted off. to find his father.

Keran nodded and licked her face again then looked up sharply as Rowan trotted up."had to sniff it huh?" he shook his head rolling his eyes and nudged Shira to turn and look.

Rowan sat down and let his ears fall back. with a trembling whine he stuck his pin cushion nose out.

Anicka

Anicka jumped up at the tree trying to scare it into leaving this place.

Shira turned to Rownan and gasped, "Rownan are you alright???"

Rowan whined. "my nose hurts. Anicka is still chasing the stupid thing." he mumbled looking totally helpless and giving the biggest sad face he could muster up.

Keran stood up and walked over looking closely at the quills. "Shira you want to pull or go get Nikki from getting the same?" he asked her

The old porcupine raised his tail and slapped at the wolf hitting her across the face.

"You go get her, Ill help Rownan" Shira said and trotted up to Rownan and laid infront of him pulling the quils out gently but quickly

Rowan shut his eyes tight and flinched at each of the quills. he whined softly and tucked his tail under himself.

Keran raced off to get anicka.

When Shira finally got the last quil out she licked his nose, "You all better?" She asked
