Ace flicked his ears and smiled kindly, "Love you?" he asked, finishing her sentence, "yes, i do. but if you don't love me, i understand."

Roxy stood up and nuzzled his neck before licking his nose. "i never had someone say anything like that to me. I love you too." she whispered in his ear.

Ace sighed in releif and wagged his tail fastly as she said it back, "You deserve to be loved, i'm surprised you havent; heard it before."
