The large brute disappeared completely into the murky water, feeling his body being tugged by the current. He pushed himself up out of the surface, taking a deep breath when his head appeared. While the water wasn't as strong here, it still attempted to drag him further away from the bank. His muscles worked hard to propel him through the muddy water, but soon he had reached the bank. He pulled himself up into the mud, feeling the ground giving way beneath his paws because it had become too saturated with water to remain stable. Quickly, he jumped to the side, watching as several chunks of ground splashed into the rainwater. He looked up at the three waiting wolves. "You can all make," he called back to them over the roar of the water. "Just try to jump as close to the bank as you feel comfortable with. If anything happens, I'll get you out." He wasn't too fond of the idea of them coming down here. It would be easy to lose a member of his pack he had worked so hard to keep, but if someone else was drowning in the river, he needed to get there as fast as possible. And this was nothing compared to what their main water source was going to be like.

{Certainly. A huge storm has come to the Canton territory, and it has flooded the river and surrounding area. The terrain is treacherous, and it's difficult to get to high ground, as there's so much water, it's washing it away. Cathal, Chet, Maleno, and Elanor have gone out in search of the missing wolves. Sylan is on higher ground and trying to wait out the storm.}

The next thing Taila knew, was that large hands of water were dragging her away. Her claws dug in the mud as she hauled herself forward, but the hands grabbed her again. She lashed her claws out, getting more and more desperate, but the dagger-like tools were almost useless in this situation, not being able to grip to the ground as the mud slipped them away.

She did all she could, thrashing around, mud and dirt everywhere. She took every opportunity to survive, grabbing onto anything she saw, even a small rock that stuck out of the muddy floor. Her claws wrapped around the gray boulder, gradually slipping as the rushing water dragged her from her spot. Finally, the rock became out of her reach, and she was pulled under the river, the fast, fierce, harsh water suffocating her. Before she went under, a gasp gave her air, perhaps the last breath.

She saw nothing under the murky water except the floor, she knew she was pulled low into the river. She closed her eyes as the lack of oxygen creeping over her, pushing her shoulders down and making her chest feel crushed.

Linnion thrashed in the water, his will power charging him out of the grasp of the current, he climbed to the rock he had been near and stood on top of it, luckily it was tall enough. His paws, though, remained in the murky water, but he knew it was better than nothing.

The male let out a howl to the other, they were no where in sight. He worried that someone was gone, injured, or leaving this world right this minute. He twitched at the thought, leaning back he let out another howl, this one more desperate.
