Catori flicked her tail, waiting for a response. She knew it wasn't his fault, being so flustered, because normally she would have just kept walking. Completely ignoring the omega, in fact she had no idea why she even stopped to speak to him, I guess after all those years of seeing the poor guy alone..
As the omega stammered over such easy words, Catori looked up towards the sky. "Kage. If I hadn't wanted to walk with you, would I have asked you?" She asked rhetorically, annoyance lingering on the last few words. As Catori looked back down at the omega, she smiled slightly and nodded her head towards the perimeter. "Come with me." She said softly and turned towards the perimeter waiting for Kage to follow. Catori didn't expect Kage to refuse the offer. It wouldn't make much sense for an omega to refuse an opportunity to share company.

Valkyrie's golden eyes slid open. She awoke in the place she had fallen asleep - at the base of a large tree that had been shielding her from the rain. Now the rain had stopped, and the white wolf had been disturbed from her sleep by the soft chattering of birds far above her head. She looked around the small clearing she found herself, empty except for her own white body. She hadn't been able to get back to the main sleeping area before the storm had rattled its way through the territory, and she had fallen asleep under her protection from the rain. It was time to get moving. Valkyrie stood up, letting a yawn escape her throat while she stretched her limbs. It was already proving to be another chilly fall morning, even as she stepped out into the sun, the cold didn't evacuate her limbs. She took one last look around before starting forward. Perhaps it was time for breakfast.

The alpha perked his ears at the sound of wolves in their dens starting to stur, some not even leaving their beds. Did they think there was no purpose or point in coming out today. His eyes motioned to the swollen belly of Rain. He put on a smile, even though more wolves ment more mouthes to feed, he was happy for the soon to be pups. "Good morning Rain." He dipped his head to the queen as she try to lay down. He than began looking for more wolves. Next was Akiko. As she sat next to her den and groomed herself he thought of the things the pack would need done today. He slowly stood up and padded over to the fae, over hearing her. "Good morning. Did you say something about sickness?" He asked, resuming to sit back down.

He didn't say anything after that remark. Snow wasn't wrong, Diablo just didn't want him to be right. He just grumbed as he slowly got to his paws. He gave a small quick nod and slowly padded out of the den. He looked around, everyone seemed to be stirring now. He overheard Kage and Catori speaking. He always saw Lamia's mouth moving but she was speaking so ow she couldn't hear her. He snarled. 'Weird Omegas' he thought to himself. The only thing he was proud of in this pack was his rank. As much as the alpha may or may not like him, he knew he deserved the rank. He shook his thoughts away and looked for someone to be productive with. His golden eyes set on Valkyrie. He looked up to the ski, heaving a sigh and began to pad twords her. He reached her and sat in front of her, realizing he hadn't thought of anything to say. He began with a not and a "Good morning." He then looked from left to right trying to think of how to ask this. "A-Are you organizing a hunting patrol anytime soon? Do you need me to find wolves?" He suddenly stoped, realizing he just spoke more than usual. For him that was running his mouth. He just sat in front of her, silently scolding himself and waiting for her answer.

Valkyrie felt herself growing nearer to the pack's normal sleeping area, and she had not yet found any small prey to stop the slight emptiness in her belly. It wasn't too concerning for her, however, as the female had often hunted on an empty stomach. She still had plenty of energy left in her muscles to get her going. Suddenly, the white female stopped in her tracks, cautiously watching as a male approached. She knew the lead fighter well enough. Enough to know that Diablo wasn't one that you wanted for good company. The words that sprung from his lips were intriguing to her. There was nothing harsh about his voice this morning, and he had actually used the word good. Well, she would go along with this ruse as long as it lasted. "Good morning," she replied sweetly, the white tail behind her wagging slowly, still unsure of the situation. This was more than she had ever heard him speak. To anyone. What was he up to? "Oh, I was planning to start soon, yes," she said. "You don't have to help, though. I'm sure you have more pressing matters to attend to." A small smile crept across the black lips as Valkyrie didn't want to show anything that would rub Diablo the wrong way.

{ Akiko :: Vanished Dreams :: Crushless }

Akiko's ears quickly perked up as she heard a voice speaking to her. She swiveled her tiny head to her right, where her large, dark fured alpha was. She dipped her head quickly, showing respect towards him, and then spoke.

"Oh, yeah." Akiko spoke quietly at first. Although she was adventurous outside, she was shy towards most wolves unless she knew them well. "I think its just the cold. I don't feel my best this morning, but I'm sure I will make it through the day." She smiled and shook her coat once more, which was always a habit when it got into the colder seasons of the year.

Akiko studied her alpha for a few moments. He was a huge, jet black wolf, who was always looking fierce and battle-ready. Although really, he was a kind, fun to be around brute. He handled pack responsibilities well, and at the same time was always up for a bit of joking around. Akiko respected him a lot, but she wasn't all that close with him even though she had been in the pack for some time now.

Crimson sat and listened to her, his eyes filled with sympathy. "Well, you don't have to, but if you're feeling up to it, I am going to lead a patrol myself and if you would like to come, you may." He smiled perking his ears as he spoke again. "But only, if you are feeing up to it.. I don't wan't you to feel worse later than you do now." A breeze ruffled his black fur, he knew it was coming to the end of fall and snow would fall soon. He hoped the pups would hold out that long. He shook his pelt And moved his tail back and forth in the colorful leaves.

Diablo now knew he said all of the wrong things. She was being polite. Ugh. This is what he got for not thinking ahead. He sat a bit taller. Though the faes words came out like honey, his stayed blank, hiding any sense of harshness, but also of any kindess. "Well, I actually need to this time, Snow has required I be 'Productive' so.. I am. And.. I would be." He stopped to let out another sigh and an almost joking eye roll. " Happy to help." He stopped there, trying hard to not look the fae in the eyes. He knew this was different of him but The last thing he wanted was Snow's icy glare on him. It was either Valkyrie's eyes or Snows. And at this point, he would much rather choose hers.

She sat up a bit more straight as soon as Crimson mentioned the patrol. She smiled gently. A patrol? That sounded perfect right now. Akiko struggled to push the sick feeling away, and glanced back to her alpha. "I'm sure I will feel fine in a few minutes. I would love to join you." She shot a quick look at his bright amber eyes, which had a sympathetic look in them.

Akiko suddenly felt a feeling of guilt inside her. She didn't like attention, and always felt bad if someone else felt sympathetic for her. She would much rather them worry about themselves and those close to them than her. She felt like she was just wasting their time, letting them worry about her. She pushed that thought away too. He was the packs alpha, it was his job to take care of his pack.

A light breeze blew over her, ruffling up her fur slightly. She shook her small frame once again, shivering a bit at the same time even though he wasn't all that cold.

Also, when you post, your posts don't have to be extremely detailed but one thing they need to have is what pack your wolf/wolves are in. Since there are two packs, it's very hard for people to tell which wolf belongs to which

Ah. There was the reason he was being civil to her. Snow. As the alpha, he could get just about any wolf to do what he wanted, and if this is the thing he had commanded, how could Valkyrie put a stop to it? Even though she wanted to answer with a somewhat snarky 'Go be productive somewhere else,' she kept these thoughts to herself. Happy to help was clearly a lie, according to the eye roll and his demeanor. Usually, this was one wolf Valkyrie did her best to keep away from, not wanting to be in the middle of one of his many fights. She had never had a problem with him, nor he her (at least, in her memory, there had never been any problems. Maybe he thought differently). "Well, Diablo," she said, glancing at the trees surrounding them. At this point, the white fae new exactly where the herd of deer were currently residing, as they had somewhat of a pattern. It was, after all, her job to keep track of the pack's food. Without her, the wolves might starve to death. And what good would a dead pack be to them? Really, this male should have been courteous to Valkyrie on a normal basis. His life depended on her, and the fact that he was working on a full or partially full belly right now told her she was doing her job well. "It might be too early for us to get a full hunting group together. It seems we have some late sleepers this morning."
