The gray wolf (Canis lupus) is a species of canid native to the wilderness and remote areas of North America, Eurasia, and North Africa. It is the largest member of its family, with males averaging 43–45 kg (95–99 lb), and females 36–38.5 kg (79–85 lb) It is similar in general appearance and proportions to a German shepherd, or sled dog, but has a larger head, narrower chest, longer legs, straighter tail and bigger paws. Its winter fur is long and bushy, and is usually mottled gray in color, though it can range from nearly pure white, red, or brown to black.

Within the genus Canis, the gray wolf represents a more specialised and progressive form than its smaller cousins (the coyote and golden jackal), as demonstrated by its morphological adaptations to hunting large prey, its more gregarious nature and its highly advanced expressive behavior. It is a social animal, travelling in nuclear families consisting of a mated pair, accompanied by the pair's adult offspring. The gray wolf is typically an apex predator throughout its range, with only humans and tigers posing a serious threat to it. It feeds primarily on large ungulates, though it will also eat smaller animals, livestock, carrion, and garbage.

The gray wolf is one of the world's most well researched animals, with probably more books written about it than any other wildlife species. It has a long history of association with humans, having been despised and hunted in most agricultural communities due to its attacks on livestock, while conversely being respected by some Native American tribes. It is the sole ancestor of the dog, which was first domesticated in the Middle East. Although the fear of wolves is prevalent in many human societies, the majority of recorded attacks on people have been attributed to animals suffering from rabies. Non-rabid wolves have attacked and killed people, mainly children, but this is unusual. Hunting and trapping has reduced the species' range to about one third, though its still relatively widespread range and stable population means that the species is not threatened at a global level, and is therefore classified by the IUCN as Least Concern.

activity
Be active. I do not like people that join and never post again. So, I expect you to post at least once a day, if you can, but the bare, bare minimum at at least three days in a week. If you are busy for the week or on vacation, just message me, please, and I'll most likely be alright with it. When you do not post for four days without notice, I will automatically remove you from the roleplay. If you were grounded or there was an emergency, tell me, and I will give you your spot back if someone has not already taken it.

There are only a few spots, so I must also limit the amount of wolves you can have is up to two wolves. I don't care if you take a boy or a girl, but only one please. No more, no less.. and it's not needed that you make a grey wolf.. it could be a red wolf or a black one..
literature
This is a big rule. This is a high semi-literate role play, not much exceptions. It is not high semi-literate or even literate, but I would like you to be able to usually write a good paragraph of nine+ lines with good muse. As for a minimum, I expect you to write around five or six sentences with wonderful grammar and spelling. Writer's block (WB) is fine because we all get it, so go ahead and say so, at the top or bottom. Even if you have it, though, at least six sentences is the minimum, and you should not have it more than three or four times a month. The amount you write is not everything, so I expect you to be descriptive and use good vocabulary. This is very important rule, so if your form does not seem literate enough, I do have the right to not accept you. If I am unsure if you are literate enough or your form is not that detailed, I will ask you to send an example of your writing. So, I'll probably ask if I have not roleplayed with you before anyway.

I like cute and pretty posts. So I'd be wonderful making an effort in trying to make your post and form look a little nice. Putting it in small text and maybe adding some little color here and there, will and can make the post a lot more interesting to read. Sadly, you cannot use pictures or fontmeme, or even glitter graffic's borders, for it is considered decorative spam. It is alright in to add pictures and fontmeme to your form or starting post but not every single following post. In your posts, you may do the [url] stuff, but not actual pictures...

Please make your own so that I can see your literate level, too. Make it look nice, colorful, cute, and do not have only one liners or "meet me"'s and "rping out"'s for the personality, history, or anything that should be in detail. Also, when you make your forums.... Realistic please...... and please no anime pictures, please...

personality
Raleigh is generally cool and detached from everyone around her. She has a hard time opening up and trusting others, but occasionally has lapses in judgement and gives away too much. She tends to punish herself for things she thinks are wrong, or hurting others when really, she only hurts herself. Raleigh immerses herself in teaching others and strengthening her pack, rarely having time to herself to take walks. She will often stand up for things she believes strongly in. She is comfortable being a fighter, since basically all her life she's been fighting against being who she was born to be. She's unafraid of death because she feels she's lived a full life and seen everything, which is untrue. Around other wolves, Raleigh is smooth and socially suave, but by herself or just one on one with another person she can be quiet but mean.... Deep down, she is very self-conscious and doubts everything about herself, frequently second-guessing her decisions and thoughts. Although this may sound cliché, underneath her cool, calm exterior there are stormy seas and whirlwind hurricanes of thoughts. She analyzes everyone and everything as an enemy. She is very damaged and feels as if there's a large void inside of her due to her past, the loss of her mother and her identity. She feels as if she drifts from person to person and believes she has some kind of disorder. She feels she is unable to love, and will probably never settle down. She is pessimistic, resentful, bitter, and so much more, but to everyone else, she will just be the alpha fae. She is a born leader, a mother figure, and the only one who will die for anyone else in the world.

history
Raleigh was born in England, bred in captivity and a featured member of the London zoo. Her father was an Irish wolf named Duff, and her mother was a British wolf named July. She did have a sister, named Ash. She was the only pup that got her father's eyes instead of her mother's, which immediately swayed July to think that she was some kind of demonic hindrance to her family's good name. Although Raleigh wasn't the runt of the litter, her mother treated her as if she was. Her father, December, was absent most of the time, not really caring for any of his pups, although he and July had so many fights that he was eventually removed from the enclosure with her and put down due to his violent ways. Raleigh, in the meantime, remained icy and cold to her family, except for Ash, who would often crawl over to her at night and whisper reassuring things in her ear. Raleigh didn't necessarily have a Cinderella-type puphood, but she was abused by her mother. She rarely got to eat food. All through her childhood, she was despised by her mother, who was disgusted by those eyes that were December's. July couldn't see past those irises, and so Raleigh was alienated. As Raleigh grew, her beauty outshone both July's and Ash's, but she was muscular and strong at the same time. Eventually, she became sick of her surroundings and wanted to leave. Before she could, Ash was killed during a flood that made its way into their habitat. She caught was caught in the flood, drowned and died. July blamed Raleigh for her sister's death, and Raleigh, becoming fed up with the abuse, left the zoo. She was captured, tranquilized, and brought to Yellowstone, where she soon broke out somehow and made her way up North, forming a pack where the Northern lights shin there brightest..

{N a m e.} Blue. Gunmetal Blue. It is uncertain why I was named that, although I do know the meaning thank to my father. Guns are very dangerous, metal is strong, and blue is a primary color. I was suppoed to be a Primary, Dangerous, Strong individual, and parts of that are true, but others only describe my father..

{P h y s i c a l D e s c r i p t i o n.} Large, imaculate, masculine, husky wolf. Almost no percentage of fat on him, but lots of muscle mass that defines his weight and his big build that protrudes from his bones to his skin. He often comes across as intimidating, but as you read his personality, you will unearth that he is just the opposite (Unless, that is, you're an enemy). Blue's fur is a mulit-color, but it's mostly dark, almost black (Perhaps 'blue) and it contains a noticible amount of a few dapples of eggshell white in it. He has large paws, attachted to the end of those are sharp claws, great for tactics in combat, and even hunting when he absolutely has to.. He has a large tail, an unusual trail, but it helps him stay warm almost everyday. Blue has stunning navy eyes, only growing lighter when the light reflects off of them.

{P e r s o n a l i t y.} With eyes always open, Blue must know the answer to everything. Some might label him nosy, but those are the ones who know him least. Blue is detailed; a perfectionist, rather. You'd catch him snooping almost everday, in the forest, by the creek, anywhere really, but he is always careful not to meddle in his pack mate's buisness. Blue is attentive; he's always paying attention to whoever's speaking at the moment, and it's like he's cemented to the conversation. His eyes are deep, leading nowhere but to his soul. Their ice blue color locks on immidiatley to whoever their across from, showing just how focused he is. Focused on nothing but finding out what's going on.
With so much to do, it's merely impossible for the male to sit still for more than a few moments a day. His schedule is packed with purposeful activities, so Blue is never wasting time. Although he cannot hunt perfectly, his talents fall under the combat catagory. Blue has very toned muscles from his practices, and a large build resulting from that. Blue's stamina is decent and his endurance is average, but he never was much for running. He was always just like a big boulder, once he was infront of you he wasn't moving.
Being lied to as a younger wolf, Blue has learned that it really does no one any good. He is reliable, and won't keep anything from you. When chatter behind someones back occurs, Blue won't let it happen. That actually might be one of his biggest pet peeves. He believes if you can't say it to someone's face, then you shouldn't be saying it at all.

Short description Shadow is a pitch black wolf. He is mysterious looking, and is extremely large compared to his packmates. His fur is rather thin, making it hard for him to stay warm in colder climates.
Eye colour Shadow's eyes are a deep amber color, that almost seem to change.
Pelt colour Shadow's pelt is not as black as night, no, much darker. His fur is pitch and pure black, he has a single marking on it, of which I will explain in the markings/scars.
Accessories Shadow has a feather behind his right ear. A thing which him and Midna spoke of before they split, it was so that they could recognize eachother. They agreed they wouldn't ambush eachother, unless absolutely neccesary.
Markings or scars He has a single white slash on his chest. He has a scar on his right eye.
Body figure Shadow is extremely large, especially when compared to his packmates, which are normally small wolves. His build is extremely muscular.

Personality Shadow is a very intelligent brute, he is short-tempered, however. He is rather hard to get, but if he likes you you probably won't know it anyway. He is swift to anger, so making him mad wouldn't be the best thing ever. He, strangely enough, likes pups, though he would like to wait until he finds the right mate for him. He is protective, and would give his life to protect those he cares for. On the other side of him he is kind, and caring, he rarely puts his own needs before others. He is strong-hearted. Once he gets started, he is nearly impossible to stop.He can seem evil, but he truthfully is not, He likes fighting, and hunting as well. He is a great fighter, usually thinking and watching the enemies' moves before moving himself. He is a decent hunter, though not the best ever.
He is usually either inside his cave, or out of camp. He is not much for crouded areas and normally stays away from other wolves.
Siblings
Midna and Blue are his siblings, he has no idea where Blue is, and Midna's in the other pack.
History "Pff, I'm afraid you have a long way to go before I tell you that, however, I will give you a small piece of information, me and my sister had rouge parents, and our father decided he didn't want us. So guess what happened? Our mother had to drop us on the edge of this territory so we weren't killed. I will spare you the details."
