>>. Rain kind of sounds like a fun horse to ride, but it sounds like it hurts.
When I rode Harley (The crazy horse) I was riding him in the arena and he was doing just fine for a great start. (I'm planning on training him for Dressage) I tried to turn him and he flipped out. He instantly jump straight up into the air and started bucking around like one of those rodeo horses. I was going to jump off, but my foot was stuck in the stirrup. The stirrup was wrapped around my ankle. Harley kept jumping around and I wrapped my hands in the reigns and yanked backwards. (That was wrong for me to do that.)
He knew he was supposed to back up, but instead he reared and started to go backwards. I was afraid he was going to fall on his back, so I pressed myself against the saddle and him. (Wrong move again!) He jumped into the air again and he slipped on the sand. He fell onto his side and crushed my ankle and sprained it. He didn't break it. He got right back up and started bucking around again. When Harley crushed my ankle, it snapped the stirrup and I lost my balance. I fell off over his rump and my helmet got kicked by him. I landed on my tail bone then rolled and almost fell off of the platform. (The arena is set up high on a giant platform. There is a ramp to get up into the arena, but the platform is on flat ground. It just supports the beams.) I fell of the platform while trying to avoid Harleys flying hooves. I blocked myself from hitting my head on the concrete floor and I used my hand to save me. That broke my wrist and two fingers.
