Hurricane weaved through the trees of the forest, keeping his dark coat concealed in the shadows. As he glanced up the black stallion could see glimpses of the sky, the dark gray clouds rolling in from the distance. Soon the baby blue sky would be covered in dark gray clouds, bringing with it the first storm of spring. Anarchy tossed his black mane, fixing his eyes on the forest around him once more as he slid easily through the shadows. He liked the thicker, dark part of the forest. The dangerous part.

Pride stood on half-way up the side of the large hill that encased the valley. The slight breeze picked his up dark mane and tail and carried them out to the side. His ears were pricked, his dark eyes flicking over the valley. He saw a mare, but didn't go down to greet her. She was walking beside the river, but he figured she wouldn't want him around. The bay stallion turned and moved farther up the hill, his long, thick legs carrying him quickly to the peak of this rise, sleek bay coat rolling smoothly over muscle as he moved.
The small colt squealed soft nursing. Pulling away from his mother he looked at her, "Mother, why do bachelors want mares s badly?"
The mare grazed next to Lithium. Her heat scent flowing through the wind.
She snorted looking around "I'm your first mare? Your how old?"
Risika flicked her ars back to listen but kept walking growing uninterested.
