Niah pulled his ears back briefly when Thunder crashed into him; causing him to take a small step back. He watched Thunder's look, before he turned away to pull the needles from his rear. Niah remembered the look that Luna had given him, and stepped forward to help out the young colt.

The young colt was slightly taken back at the immediate response, but at this point he had no where to turn at. He snorted a thanks as he pulled the rest from his back legs. The swift tugging of the needles made them bleed a bit upon coming out of his pelt, but he didn't mind it.

Whisper poked her head from Sable's leg, watching buzzards as they flew in a circle around the lifeless mare, tears spilled her cheeks as she softly said "Mommy..". She smffled slightly burying her head into her older sster's chest.

Niah nodded, flicking his tail as he watched Thunder finish the rest himself. He looked at Sable and Whisper, shaking out his mane. "We should move." He said, watching the small herd.

Thunder trotted next to his sistr, nuzzling the top of her head softly and comfortingly. Now he had to be the role model to her, the one that she'd look up too.

Whsper tilted her head up,moving backwards so she stayed under the older colt's shadow. Then it hit her thesame way it did with Thunder, only this time she also noted how close they were to become adults. and how soon it'd be till Thunder would have to leave her, to make his own herd.

Niah stepped over to the three, flicking his tail as he glanced to the cave where Luna lay. He had not expected her to leave so soon, though he couldn't be the judge.

{Uhm, Keres is meeting up with Dynamite again, and Niah is trying to be a leader to Sable, Whisper and Thunder, now that Whisper and Thunder's mother is gone.}
