Paint's eyes opened slowly, blinking around to fade the blur of sleep that coated her eyes. Her ears flattened slightly at the sight of a wolf at the entrance of the den but quickly realizing it was only the female wolf her ears stood perked on her head once more. She turned her head to glare at her now slightly larger stomach and the female gave a soft sigh, time was drawing nearer. Her tail curled still tightly around her and she laid her head down. Studying every individual string of fur along the tip. She would wait until her friend would wake before leaving as she didn't want to stir her.
