She seemed to know exactly where she was going so Maverick followed her. The thickening water vapor that grew visible in the air only made is harder for him to keep up. He was used to meandering around absently, with no real destination. But this Fae had a home to return to , and she knew precisely where it was.
Tsukre placed his head between his paws and quickly fell asleep beside Adolphus. A smile was on his face which last much of the time.
Naomi finally found the dens just in time, the frozen, frosty, ivory tinted H2O just begain to fall from the sky, sticking to anything and everything in sight, even Maverick and Naomi's pelt. Looking over her shoulder, she made sure he was able to keep up with. "We made it." She called back.
"How could I make myself useful?" Maverick asked promptly, eyeing the couple in which lay, tails intertwined, protected from the harsh upcoming weather.
"Nothing that I can name off the top of my mind needs to be done during this stomach. So I suppose you can just sit back and relax." Naomi said softly as she entered the den and laying down, ignoringTsukre and Aodlphus as they slept.
Maverick wasn't sure wether it would be socially acceptable to follow the fae into her den. From what he'd gathered as a pup sharing a den with another ; thus being their debate was for lovers. So he nodded solemly watching her disappear and lowered himself to his haunches and watching the world around him.
"Unless you're sitting there to catch a cold, you better come in." Naomi offered as she layed down, getting her self comfortable the best she could on the rocky, cold, cave floor. Kicking her back legs out, she glanced up at the male with interest.
"I won't catch a cold." Maverick argued, his gaze lingering a moment longer than he intended as he watched her-wistfully-lay in the den. He focused on the scent of the roaring weather, his pelt a victim of the sky's raging discussion. The raindrops bullets upon his pelt he sighed, "But if you, love, get cold I'd be glad to help you out with that."
"It is a bit chillded and I wouldn't mind a bit of extra heat." Naomi smiled, her eyes soft and her voice soothing. Another chill swept through the den like wild fire.
Interpreting it no other way, Maverick heaved himself off the terra firma onto his forepaws lumbering over to where Naomi lay. He lowered himself, chest to the dry yet rough base. Their damp pelts pressed together in the dim light. "Better?" Maverick asked.
