Rider Name:
Anastasia Marie Linlond (Lin-lund)
Nicknames?: (Delete if none)
Ana; Anny; Linny(She hates this nickname.)
Gender:
Female
Age:
18 (Birthday: March 15, 1994)
Height:
5 ft 10
Crush:
--
Personality:
Anastasia is known for her bubbly, hyper attitude toward her friends. She is shy, and nervous around new people, and tends to mess opportunities up when she is around people she likes. She is always ready to go, unless she is woken up early in the morning. She is anything but a morning person. She enjoys group rides out in a thickly wooded place, or a path shaded by trees. She enjoys being around horses more than she enjoys being around people. She is kind, but fiercely loyal, and would not go behind a friend's back unless they had done it to her. Once her trust is shattered, you cannot glue the pieces back together and call it good. Broken is broken, in other words.
History: (Short or long)
She got her first full grown horse at the age of 14. She never considered herself a natural horseman, but she loved being high in leather upon her favorite animal's back, nonetheless. As a young girl, before she had gotten her own, she would be seen always around her neighbor's horses. They owned a small cattle ranch, and she used to sit upon the cows' backs, going with them as they slowly moved around the pasture. When she was 9, she got a pony. The pony was a Shetland named Magic Melody. Mel for short. The Shetland lived well into her 20's before giving into arthritis. It was caused by an injury she had sustained at a very young age. She was never ridden after the injury.
At the age of 10, Anastasia was gifted a small Grade pony Gelding named Macho Man. He was affectionately dubbed "The Man" around the farm. He stood 13.2 hh, just big enough for Ana to ride. 'The Man' was given away when Ana was 13 years old. They had to move, and could no longer afford the farm, cattle, or the ponies Ana had acquired. She had a total of 4, Magic Melody, who passed away 3 years later, Macho Man, who would be ridden in Beginner or Schooling dressage until he was 24. He would live on for 5 more years. She also had 2 twin Exmoor ponies. They both were mares standing at 11.3 hh. They were given to a miniature pony show home.
She lived a year without a horse. She had a bird named Snow. When she was 14, she was gifted a Thoroughbred-Dutch Warmblood cross mare named "Queen Sofia." She was nicknamed Sophy, or Queen. The mare stood at 16.2 hh, and was dubbed "too tall for showing." She was an excellent Dressage mare, that had a spring in her step that Ana and her Show-experienced mother had never seen before. The mare, however, was a hard keeper. Ana's family could hardly hold her feed, never mind her monthly trimmings, worming, and other medications and complications they ran into with the clumsy-beautiful mare. Ana's father took 2 jobs, along with Ana's mother. Soon, her father couldn't stand it. He left while she slept, and she hadn't seen him until 15, when she had to spend the weekends at his and his new wife's house.
Queen was held onto tightly by Ana. By the next year, exactly on Ana's birthday, a colt was born. He was jet black in color, not a mark of white on his coat. He was named "Queen's Knight," nicknamed Night or Knight. He was a great Dressage prospect, like his mother who had recently been challenging each and every horse she showed against. She had only won a handful of her competitions, but she was surely in the running.
Ana had bred Queen once more, receiving a graying filly named "Queen o' Stars," nicknamed Stars. Ana hadn't recently seen her dad for over a year, her mom was sent to special care for lung cancer, but the earnings from her 2 horses, Queen and Night(Night being in yearling halter classes), had helped keep up with some of the bills, although, Ana is still fighting to stay out of debt.

She is a very easily ridden trail mount, but has a mind of her own in Dressage, most of the time. She is very eager to please, and knows when she isn't at her best.
History: (oppt.)
She was born on a small time breeding farm in Northern Kentucky. She was raised on the blue grass, well fed and well cared for. As she grew, she was trained in yearling halter show. She was soon said to be too tall for a future career, and, therefore, she was sold. She was sold to people who believed they could make her into a Lesson Horse Show Jumper. She was excellent in the ring, a fast learner, but too flashy, and too...springy for the kids to learn on her. She was sold to one of the more advanced students, who trained her in Dressage, and showed her twice, winning both competitions by a land slide. The student no longer could afford 3 horses, and was told to only keep 1. She picked Queen. Queen was excelling in Dressage, easing through each test like she was taking an evening trail ride. Soon, she came face to face with a colt named Morning Sir. He won by a single point. Queen was sold to the owners of Sir in exchange for a free covering by Sir for their newest Warmblood mare, I'ma Winner.
Queen was trained further in Dressage, even passing Morning Star at times in her Dressage tests. Morning Star was let loose one night, and, well, let's just say the black stallion had a black colt. Queen was the mother. A month after the incident, no one knew yet, she was gifted to Anastasia after Queen was on pasture stay for 2 weeks due to her front right leg being sore. She healed fine, and was ridden by Ana up until she started showing. She had Queen's Knight on March 15.
