Sephora's steps slowed for a moment unconsciously as she looked for somewhere to turn, and she found it. It was a matter of getting there now. The moment would have been beautiful in slow motion as she pushed forward, her legs reaching out as far as they could. The river neared quickly. She was hoping the new burst would keep him from cutting her off, if he did then her plan would be ruined. She didn't want to fight him, but she knew it was the only thing she was good at. Her breath spilled out heavily and her mane and tail streamed out behind her.

Judge
He saw her movements start to go faster and he felt dread wash through his body.This mare would be a valuable asset,just her size could intimidate anything.He forced his legs to go faster,each stride pushing him closer and closer to her side.The only thing would be getting there in time and hope that he was thinking as she was.

Sephora pushed harder, keeping the speed made her muscles ache but adrenaline kept her going. Each breath could be heard, her determination fueled by the sound of water that began to fill her ears. The river was close, but she also took note that Judge was catching up. She snorted and her ears flattened against her skull... so close. She could almost taste the water as she neared it, it was now in sight. But Judge was almost at her side. It would be close, the chance of him turning her around was about to slip away as the water neared. Her legs could stretch no further, work no harder, she was at her top speed.

Judge
He snorted as they came closer to the river,stretching his neck out as far as it would go and making his legs pump just a little faster.His coat was shiny with sweat and water now and he yearned to stop and had half a mind to,but the prospect of his herd growing larger,the thought of having this beautiful black mare in his band drove him to continue the chase.This was something he had never done,this speed was almost sickening,but what made it worth it was that he was coming up on her,his muzzle reaching the end of her torso closest to her rear.He titled that magnificent dipped head and touched her flank with his muzzle,showing his presence.

Bellezza (Beauty)
Belle nuzzles him back some by rubbing er head on his neck. "She's got an interesting personality and appears to think she knows everything.." she bickered softly as she enjoyed the kindness from Fable. "I don't mind being around her though. She's very strong willing and that makes me feel safe, knowing she won't easily give up.."

Sephora felt him at her side, he was too close. Too close for any effort to matter. In a final attempt to make her plan succeed she bucked, in hopes to drive him backwards. But, it was too late... he was too close for hurt him. No room! She slid to a quick halt , flashing around and rearing, quickly slamming her hooves down to keep him from advancing anymore. Her head was low and her breath still quick and heavy. The river was right behind her, almost licking at her hooves. Her head lowered and she pawed the ground, advertising that she would charge even though she wouldn't.

Judge
The sudden stop of the mare made him brace his legs,skidding and sliding to a stop in front of her pawing figure.His rear was one not of menace,but to show how he would not give up easily.He came to the ground with a thud and tossed his head with a loud neigh.Her pawing figure made his muscles tenser than before,but he stood in front of her.If she charged than so be it,that obstacle would be met when it arose.His sweat and rain soaked coat was thankful for a brief,small breeze and his lungs burned.The water at the mare's heels teased and taunted him,his throat very dry.He didn't dare peel his eyes from her even briefly to quench his thirst though,didn't want to risk losing her.

Hollywood Hicktown

She kept an eye on the talking horses and flicked her tail hard against her side,looking then to ahead of her and leaning over to put more pressure on her injured leg.A sharp intake of air followed but she kept on,knowing that it would have to hurt before it got better.

Bellezza (Beauty)
Belle nods and grins as she nuzzles up against him again. "Yes.. I do want a foal." she whinnies happily. She wasn't really thinking that it was going to slow her down when Rose planned to escape. That was probably the furthest thing from her mind at the moment. Having a foal would a way to prove to herself that she can be a mother.. Since before it been a failure from before the foal even came out.
