Nightmare smiled leaning lightly against him as she angled herself in a way so she could groom his withers peacefully, she swished he tail spreading about her scent, she didn't worry about it though knowing now she was safely with a stallion she trusted.

Cheyenne//Chey//Tired & anxious//Lone-mare
Cheyenne fled towards the woods, mud splattered her coat but the rain was washing it away with it's cold icy waters, her legs stretches forward to gain her more speed as she broke into a gallop towards open lands, they shook under her weight and her lungs burned for more air. She knew this chase was about over when she stumbled twice but managed to keep going, but she finally slowed to a halt, her sides heaving as she drank in the air, her legs shook from the tension, she glanced over at the stallion her head lowered in submission and acceptance, her tail flicking as she shivered in the pouring rain, "my name is, Cheyenne"

His sides were heaving and his legs shook as he galloped after the mare.He was behind and his stride was faltering and a rush of happiness flooded through his body as he saw her stop.He gratefully slowed to a stop and heard her say what her name was.His lungs burned and his sides heaved as he caught his breath."Pretty."he replied,unable to say much more at the moment.His chest hurt and his lower body was covered in mud.Somewhere deep in his soul he knew that this mare was worth the effort.

Amara looked up and caught Raider's gaze. She trotted over, her tail fluttering behind her. "did you want something?" rain had soaked her, it was rather chilling. She shook her head, getting some of the water of her neck and face. Her mane didn't even struggled against the wet drops, it simply stood up and refused to go down no matter what.

Sephora||Lone Mare||Somewhat Alert

Sephora's eyes met the sky as the rain hardened. She quickly turned and made her way out of the water and into the clearing nearby, bucking some water off in the process. She snorted loudly before taking cover under a lone tree a bit far from the forest, her head was still high but her ears didn't flick around as much. At the moment, the rain was her real "worry".

Cheyenne offered a way smile to the stallion, knowing he had done a lot to get her, she knew he'd be a worthy stallion to have worked to get her, she smiled dipping her head slightly and softly nuzzling his muzzle, her tail flicking her scent about.
Inwardly she cringed at the thought of next spring when she'd probably have a foal at her side, though she knew it was a mares job to have foals and at the same she was excited at the thought.

Raider spotted Amara"Yeah actually, i do"he stepped forward a but and lead her to the outskirts of the herd, nudging her softly. His bulky black body looked huge next to hers as he moved along.

Untouched Fable||Fable||Band-Stallion
"You know, it was nice having just one of you but two is a little bit too much, i see why Raider avoids you Rose, having SunDance around it already tough"He shook his leg, trying to get rid of the pain. When the rain started coming down his coat started shining. Shaking out his mane he released a high pitched whinny. He was calling Bellezza. Fable decided they were going to move to the shade of the trees. He also decided that he was going to move away from Raiders herd. Not too far though as they both liked to help one another."SunDance, i think you should stay with Raider"He saw her shake her head and readied himself for her comment. He then groaned slightly"Why did I get you"he motioned to Rose.

SunDance nodded to the blood mare"Rose it is"She then listened to Fable and said sharply to him"Hey, if you want the pretty rose, be ready for the thorns"Her golden coat still shone in the rain but it wasnt as light and elegant, it gave her a more feminine look now. "Im not staying with Raider, just because you cant handle one of us, doesnt mean were going to play it your way, im coming"She watched with a smug smile as he nodded slowly.

(Yep, tomorrow it will be summer and they will have one more chance before they can no longer have foals.)

Bloody Rose//Rose//Fires up//Band-mare
Rose pinned her ears at Fable, "I don't know, it was choice" she snorted but smiled at SunDane and gave her a grateful smile, "thanks," she whispered, before looking back at the stallion her expression guarded.

Amara||Band mare||calm and curious

Amara's step easily followed where Raider wanted them to go. Her feet fell relatively calm compared to her previous gaits that were displayed. Though her head was still high. Mud had found its way to parts of her legs, but it was washed of by the continuing rain every time she stood still. She was glad that her coat didn't trap in water, otherwise she would be freezing right now. While walking her head turned, for once she didn't know what question was about to approach as there where so many things to ask. "you have me stumped. What did you want to ask?"

Raider turned to look at her"You were my first mare and you are by far the one with the knowledge and I trust you more than many horses"he paused slightly"And thats why i would like to know if you would be my lead mare"

Amara smiled and said "I would be honored." She nuzzled his shoulder rather happily. She looked up meeting his eyes once more and said "I won't let you down!" She was rather surprised at the question, and glad she didn't let her words slip as she said them. She was positive she would be able to handle the weight on her shoulders that could be provided at the job. She had let her excitement shine in her eyes this time, even a calm mare can get excited sometimes.
