The weak female lay there. To weak to move a muscle or eye lid. She moaned and called for help. But her calls where so silent. Though she weakly looked to the island. All she saw was sand and the smell of salt water. She lay there helpless.

Shay bowed playfully in return, "Oh your on!" she barked, then laughed happily, she imediatly ran past the brute, not at her top speed though, no yet.. "I hope you know I love wild rabbit!" she called over her shoulder, laughing as the wind flew through fur, sending shivers of joy through her body.

Jax shook his head, a sad look on his face, "You must always put the wounded before anyone else Jax.." he said, quoting his late father, "No Holly, I'm sorry, you should not have to wait" he said, shaking his head as he examined her paw, "Yes.. I believe some palm leaves would be able to keep your paw together" he said softly to himself, his eyes and muzzle just a few inches from Holly and her paw.

Niall rolled his eyes playfully and ran besides her. "Oh trust me i will keep that in mind." He said playfully to her and smiled. He headed in front for a minute or so. "Be sure to list down i like fresh fish!" He called to her and laughed, swishing his tail as he looked in front.

Holly smiled at him, swishing her tail gently across the floor. Her eyes shone a little brighter. "It's alright.." She mumbled softly and sighed a little. She nodded at him. "I suppose that would be a good idea." She said happily, she looked at him in the eye as he was just a few inches apart of her. She gave him a smile sweetly.

Shay laughed, pushing harder as she continued on right at his side, but soon slowling down at his heels, Come on Shay, all those years of running away should have prepared you for this! she though angerily in her mind, pushing herself beyond her limit as she caught up, nose to nose with Niall.


Jax nodded, then looked up with his soft blue eyes, "Wait right here Holly, I'll go get the leaves" he said with a nod. Swiftly turning around and padding over to the forest, searching hard for any fallen palm trees, perferably the fresh green once, they would hold better when it came to healing.

Niall smirked and looked at her as he ran. "Wow, i never thought you could run so fast." He said and chuckled a little. "Amazing skills you've got there." He said and smiled happily at her.

Holly looked at him. "Okay Jax. Thanks." She called after him, she licked her paw a little and sighed, looking down at the ground.

Jax sniffed the area, pricking his ears for any sound or smell. With a few minutes of searching, the brute came back to Holly, his mouth carefully holding onto the leaves, being catious not to puncture the delicate leaves. He gently wrapped Holly's paw and leg with the leaves, "I hope this will add comfort to you pain" he said, taking a step back to look at his work, "I'm afraid this is as far as my knowledge of healing goes" he said dissapointedly.

Shay surprised herself as well, "Neither did I" she said with a laughing, looking a way from Niall and forward, "But the race is not over!" she laughed loudly, starting to pant from all of the running.

Niall pricked his ears and sniffed the air. "Of course it's not!" He laughed as well. He enjoyed the moment. "May i ask.. have you ever been a pet before?" He asked her. Raising his eye brow.

Holly felt her body temper change as he placed the delicate cold leaves on her warm paw. But she smiled at him. "Thank you again." She bowed her head. "I think it's fine. Just need to leave if for a while." She said to him and walked over to him. She pressed her nose gently to his forehead. "Jax, i want to tell you how much your help had made my feel more better than before. Thank you for caring for me." She said happily, wagging her tail gently.

Jax blushed, never having had the comfort of a fae thanking him like this, "Never a problem Holly, I just want you to know that I didn't mean to put you off" he said. The brutes eyes showed how bad he felt, he had never done such a thing before until now, and it was slowly eating away at him.


Shay slowed her pace rather arupbtly, her ears went flat against her head, and her eyes looked from Niall to the ground, "Uh, yes.." she finally said, a different tone to her voice, one that was rarely used, "But you should define pet first" she said in almost a growl as she reflected on her past.
