Illegal smiled and nuzzled her mane happily, nearly all his mares would have foals by next spring, he swished his tail happily grooming her for awhile before deciding he'd better get back to protect the herd and ask Jazz if she'd like a foal aswell.

Winter laughed lightly at that, "she's not always like that!" she whinnied but was obviously amused at the thought because that had happened a few times before. "I'd love to be your lead-mare if you want me to be" she answered, swishing her tail spreading her scent about she gently nuzzled him.

The silver stallion covered Winter . . .
The blue sky was dark but the two horses stood out. He nuzzled her mane before deciding they better find Sunny, considering she could be chasing butterflies. He gently nudged her shoulder back to where Sunny was but he knew she needed little encouragement.

Desire nodded softly. She walked back with him but when Flame came into sight her ears perked and she set into a canter.

Illegal smiled and trotted towards the group of mares his ears pricked forward, as he peacefully grazed nearby jerking his head up whenever he heard a snap of a twig or the crunching sound of grass, he'd lift up his head occasionally to keep look out for other stallions and lone mares that had managed to wander close enough to be snaked, but he was perfectly content with his herd at the moment.

Winter smiled and nuzzled his mane gently swishing her scentless tail, she couldn't wait for next spring and her foal she obediantly started trotting when the beautiful silver stallion nudged her, she nosed her barrel for a moment wondering if the foal would get a silver coat like his dam and sire.

Flame nickered to Desire, then beckoned for her to follow with a swish of her tail. She trotted over to where the other horses were, and began to itch Illegal's withers.

Illegal lifted his head with a start until he realized it was just Desire and Flame, he smiled swallowing his grass before grooming Flame's flank happily switching between her and Desire, his tail swishing away the bugs that nipped at his flank. His neck was arched at a regal angle as he groomed his elegant dun and feiry mare.

Nivis flicked her ears nervously. The silver-white mare moved silently by the water's edge, her head low to the ground and her tail flowing freely in the soft breeze. Her heat was at its peak, but even though is was strong she didn't worry to much about getting chased by a stallion. She knew that she could run farther than most horses, all she had to do was stay on flat ground.
