Russ growled and nipped at her, whining as he weight crushed his broken paw. "Not fair." His nostrils flared in anger.

[An average sized Dutch Shepherd, he has glossy and thick black fur that sheds on a common basis. He has warm brown eyes that aren't quite yellow, but aren't fully dark brown. A mix, almost a caramel color. He has a scar on his chest shaped like an 'X' from a fight with a larger dog a year ago. The skin around that area is a fleshy pink, and touching it hurts him. ]

Austin stood tall while walking with the patrol, glancing around, his muscles rippling under his black and white pelt.

Lissa led the patrol towards the border her large ears perked and ready for anything.

Ghost stood, the black dog was watching the cars go by, his form still and paitent waiting for something to happen. Maybe nothing would, maybe today would go by peaceful, but as much he hoped that today would be a peaceful and calm day, he knew that life as a stray was a stressful way to live, and that the only peace that he would ever get was long out of his reach. Not that life as a stray was something he regretted, only wished it was easier.

Sweet looked back, hearing voices and saw a fellow packmate. "Lisa!" She bounded towards him as fast as she could on her small, thin legs. "I have to show you somebody!" She squealed eagerly.

Russ gently kicked Snow off and stood up stiffly, and limped back a few steps, grumbling. "I have places to be anyways." He tucked his tail between his legs and limped away tiredly.

Austin looked at Sweet, a gentle smile on his face. "I'll continue to patrol," He mumbled to Lissa before trotting forward, his nose catching and hanging on to a scent trail. A rogue, he thought.

Melody lay under the shade of a tree, nibbling on a small rabbit bone.

Lissa cocked her head at the energetic chihuahua. She was almost the same size as herself and she was glad someone was. (meh writers block). She looked at the patrol and motioned for them to go on. "I will catch up." she called looking at Sweet. "This better be important." she barked.

As the cars continued to speed by, the black dog's ears flicked up. He knew that he was close to pack territory, he wasn't sure what they called themselves, or why they were silly enough to get into a pack, but he knew better than to cross the line. However the thought of food that was within their territory was tempting, the male tried to convince himself that it wasn't worth it. But to him right now, it was. So with a deep sigh of regret the dog walked slowly towards the pack's grounds, and headed deeper into their land.
