"Every wolf for herself."

Cote wandered round the camp, pacing restlessly. She was bored and saw nothing to do that matched the insisting voice in her to go do something to help her boredom. Cote sighed and sat down, laying her head on her paws and gazing up at the camp. Her body stayed still, but her dark hazelnut eyes stroked the camp.

I wandered silently threw the dense of the trees, too lost in thought to even mind where I was headed. My eyes were locked towards my paws that were taking me further into the stand of trees, farther and farther from reality. I had been wandering alone for days now; only eating small animals and some scraps from other animal's kills. I really didn't find the need to go to camp for a large meal.
I had been deeply interested in the world around me; yet I dare to travel alone. I honestly had no clue on what I was thinking about, my mind carried whatever thoughts I had. I was enjoying my time alone greatly, but It would be nice to have some company once in a while. It seemed like forever until finally my paws stopped moving, and my eyes peered up from them. The world had my attention now.
I blinked a few times, trying to see if there was anyone near me, sadly I hadn't spotted a single one. I was growing tired of my journey, and felt the need to return, being isolated from other wolves really impacted a wolf's marrow.

Fang laughed and shouted over his shoulder. "Sure I can slow down, but the question is can speed up when we're trying to chase something down?" He teased. Then, in a more serious tone, he continued. "No but you're right, it's better to conserve the energy and leave the real running to the hunt." Fang slowed to a trot until the she wolf caught up to him and was moving right at his side. He smiled with happiness. Having her there with him right by his side felt just right. "What's on your mind?" He asked casually, trying to make conversation until they arrived at the hunting grounds.

Ice looked at the sun shining through the crowded pines. It was hard to gauge the time because the sky was barely visible through the treetops. Ice decided it was probably time to be heading back to the den site. Maybe the others would start wondering where he had gone off to. He doubted it. Ice smiled at the small owl and nudged it as if to say goodbye. "I'll see you tomorrow, I might even bring you a mouse." Then he trotted off. When Ice reached a clearing in the woods, he looked up and realized how late it was and how he had lost track of time. Ice gasped, then broke into a trot. "I have to hurry before they have time to suspect I've been gone." The small white wolf was so intent he nearly ran right past Amber, who was walking on the round smooth pebbled by the river. He slowed down and watched her, she was so beautiful she took his breath away. Suddenly Ice realized that she was starting to head back. He ran after her and shouted. "Wait," but it was too late, she was gone. In his distress, Ice ran right into Luke who was patrolling the territory.. "Oof" He grunted as he thudded to the ground. The other wolf was much bigger than him. "I'm so sorry..." Ice apologized fearfully, lowering his head shamefully and pinning his tail close between his legs.

"Just hunger.." I admitted. I knew Fang was crazy about me, and I was still getting used to it. I really did like him back, he was always so nice to me and friendly. "What about you?" I asked softly. My voice was naturally like silk, soft and smooth. My aqua eyes flickered towards the trees and the lake we were passing. It was nice out today but a bit hot.. I didn't mind much though. I wagged my tail as I walked beside him happily.

I sat up under my tree and sighed softly. I stretched out a bit and then glanced around camp. I watched Cote pass me a few time before I saw her lay down. I bounded over to her, noticing she looked pretty bored.. I was bored too, nothing exciting was happening today.. "Hey." I said, sitting a few feet infront of her.

"It's fine. How are you today?" I asked, wagging my tail, showing Ice I was no threat. The breeze gently blew back my white coat and I panted lightly as I waited for Ice's reply.

"Don't think. Just fight."

Cote glanced up as Vibration padded up to her. "Oh...," she said lightly. "Hi! What are you up to?" she asked curiously, hoping to join in. At this point, she would do almost anything for the sake of just moving about. Cote lifted her head from her paws, uncurling them a bit.

Fang watched the she wolf and noticed she was eyeing the lake. "Hey is it hot or is it just me?" He laughed happily Fang's laugh was attractive, it made anyone around him want to laugh with him and just filled the atmosphere with a general sensation of warm happiness. Fang's eyes lit up with an idea. "Hey, maybe after we manage to hunt something for the pack we could come back to the lake for a swim?" He proposed, thinking it would be a great way to get cooled off and refreshed after all the hard work of hunting. "Anyway if you don't want to that's fine too..." he trailed off, really hoping Kamikaze would say yes. The usually talkative and loud wolf hushed as they approached the meadow. Staying on the edge of the forest, he slowly stalked closer to the very fringe, observing a small herd of deer grazing not too far away. "So which one should we target?" He whispered almost inaudible to his hunting partner.

Ice smiled at Luke, relieved he wasn't in trouble. After the initial relief passes, Ice's slight distress at missing a chance to talk to Amber returned. He glanced over Luke's shoulder, hoping to get a glimpse of her but she was long gone. Suddenly Ice snapped to reality after realizing Luke had asked him a question. "Oh! Umm. I'm doing ok today. I was just looking for someone.. what about yourself? What brought you out to this part of the woods?" Ice tried to make conversation, but he stuttered slightly. His social skills weren't the best, as he was mostly of an introvert, preferring to keep to himself most of the time. He tried asking another question that might make for more interesting conversation material. "Hey by the way, do you know if there is anything to eat in the kill pile? I haven't seen the pack hunters today and I'm getting pretty hungry."

Vixen fought to resist a giggle in the back of her throat. It tickled when Jayden nibbled her ear. Vixen smiled, Jayden's crooked way of grinning endeared her so. She listened to his proposal to go for a run, then licked his cheek with her small pink tongue and sat up. The idea of going for a run appealed to her, in fact Vixen was craving a little exercise and the feeling of the wind in her fur. But instead of agreeing with her feelings she stretched out lazily and replied, "I'm too tired right now. I could honestly take a nap." Vixen yawned, letting her tongue roll out of her mouth, then laid back down, snuggling into Jayden's thick soft fur. She needed just a little more motivation.

"I'd love to go swimming." I said, wagging my tail. I quieted myself down when we got near the herd and I croutched low, beside Fang in the brush. I scanned the herd of three does and a buck, carefully. I saw a doe with a limp and I licked my lips."That one." I said, my voice hushed as I pointed with my nose to the young injured doe. I jumped out first. I was a very fierce hunter, but I was always graceful. My heavy white and grey coat blew back as I flew out of the bushes towards the herd. The buck decided to come at me, but after a snapped at him he loped away quickly. The two healthy does, bounced after him. The injured one wailed as she limped off as fast as she could. I bit into her rump, waiting for Fang to help me.

I shook my head."Nothing really.." I shrugged. My blue eyes rolled back. "Want to go for a swim or a walk maybe?" I asked, wagging my tail against the hard rock that was near the dens."Play?" I loved play fights, they were great for strengthening bonds with fellow pack members.

"Kam and Fang are out hunting now. They should be back with something soon. There are a few rabbits in the kill pile though.." I said."Also I was just checking the borders.." I answered his first question. I remembered he said he had been looking for someone,"Amber?" I whispered quietly, smirking.

In Camp~With Vibration~Excited
"Life is too busy to play. But once in a while..."

Cote sprang up. "Okay!" she woofed excitedly, then glanced around the camp to see if anyone as awatching. She was very aware of other wolve's opinions of her; and she did'nt want anybody to think she as crazy or just not exactly in her mind all the way. 'Okay," she repeated, a bit calmer this time.

Narrowing her eye's she looked away and stared blankly into the distance. She sighed, everyone had there own little group bar herself, and She doubted if that would ever change. She dipped her head lightly licking her black chest fur several time's before drawing her frame up. She gave it too full on shakes before padding off into somewhat Shadows of the Camp. She grunted and flopped over on her side, resting her head on a near by rock. She pulled back her ears and shut her eyes tightly. She didn't feel like getting up today. It was to early in her mind.
