Esther spotted a herd of zebras grazing. She grinned at Zane, "Look!" She spoke in a hushed tone, trying not to scare off the herd.

Zane:
He looked at her then at the Zebra calm unlike normal. He wasn't much of a hunter, in fact he somewhat failed at it but he would give it a shot. He lay down swiftly I'n the grass watching the herd and waiting.

Esther crept around to the other side of the herd. She shot a glance over at Zane then stalked toward and older looking zebra.

Zane:
He stalked towards the zebra. He glanced at Ester then at the Zebra as it bolted. He asuned that was the cue to chase so he took off after the zebra.

Esther notice Zane charging after the zebra. Good. She kept running and drew closer and closer to its sides, then she sprang into the air and landed squarely on its back. She threw her weight off to the side, throwing the zebra off balance.

Zane:
The large lion seemed surprised as the smaller female raced past him with ease. He quickly tried to catch her up but did once the zebra was falling. He aimed strait for the kill and grabbed is't wind pipe in his mouth and quickly claimed their win.

Once the zebra had stopped struggling and was most definatly dead, Esther hopped off and padded over to Zane, "Good job! You did great! Ive never known a male lion who has hunted before. Most of them just lay around waiting for mating season.." She smiled brightly.

Zane:
He smiled at her. "You did good too" he replied and smiled a bit more. "Well that's because I don't like to be lazy" he commented although it wasn't completely true, he wasn't exactly lazy but he wasn't active either.
