Spud smiled, "hi. I'm Spud." He nudged Ginger with his head.

Ginger smiled "You are too cute!"


Freedom smiled "I'm Freedom."

[Taisi]

Luke looked at Freedom, "Nice to meet you." he then lay on the ground, wanting Ginger to climb on his back.

Freedom smiled.

Ginger smiled and climbed on his back.

Spud stood tall. He neighed loudly and took off on the trail. He leapt over fallen logs and ducked under trees. After he had gotten all of his energy, he trotted back to Freedom and looked back to see if Ginger had held on for her little joy ride. He pawed at the dirt gently, looking out of his only eye at Freedom. He used to be ashamed of his missing eye, but now he just called it his 'battle scar'.

Ginger giggled"You're as good as Freedom!Do you have a owner?" she said to Spud as she hopped off his back and petted him.

Freedom looked at him "Wow! You're good!"she smiled and looked at his eye "What happened?"

Spud shook his head, as if to say he didn't have an owner. He turned to freedom. "I had eye cancer, and the vet had to take out my eye. Some people hate me because of it, but it's a part of me, and they can either love all of me, or love none of me." He snorted proudly.

Ginger said "Well you do now!" she smiled.


Freedom said "Sorry about your eye.."

Spud shook his head and nuzzled her neck gently, "Don't be sorry. You weren't being rude. Just curious."

Ginger smiled.


Freedom smiled "Okay good so I guess we will be competing in competition together." she neighed with a smiled,
