((Okie dokie. Thank you.
I think I'm gonna make Kojack die... It's dragging on too long.))
Koona
Koona woke up and glanced around. She was pretty sure she wasn't in her own pack's territory. She stood up, cracking a yawn. Koona heard a noise, the noise of a wolf walking. (Nahla)
"Hello? Is anyone there?"Kojack
Kojack struggled for his breath. The rabbit meat lay beside him, untouched. He had been hungry earlier, but even after Kora brought him deer, rabbit, squirrel, anything she could find, he couldn't eat any of it. The thought but him want to vomit. He had made Kora drag it all to the kill pile. His sighed. He had failed her as a father. He was a horrible wolf, power hungry and cruel. he had wanted to change, but he obviously wasn't getting the chance.
"Kora.... Kora.." He gasped out, trying to peek outside the den. Kora had been sitting in the same spot ever since she had dropped the game off at the kill pile. He wondered what was wrong with her, but he didn't ask. There was nothing he could do about it anyway. Even if he had the energy, it hurt too much to move.
"Father, what's wrong?" Kojack smiled at his daughter weakly.
"I... I am so sorry- you had to grow up... with a father like... like me. Never.... Never forget, Kora.... I love you. As soon as the words left his greying muzzle, his eyelids drooped and closed. His breathing slowed to a stop. He died.
Kora
Kora rapidly shook her head.
"No, no, no, daddy. No, no, you can't die. I can't lose you, too!" Kora buried her face in his shoulder fur. After a few minutes, she dried her tears and pulled away. She would disgrace him by crying over him. She left the den, walking over to a rock and sitting atop it. She lifted her small head and opened her jaw, letting a chilling howl escape. The howl was peircing and low at the same time. It was full of mourning. It echoed across both territories. She repeated it, again and again and again.
