Chloe turned to a stallion facing her. She approached him and reached up to pet him. "Hey boy," she said softly, grinning at the thought that all of the horses liked her around.

Ash took a cautious step forward, lowering his nose to the fence level so she could be able to reach. He swished his tail. Maybe this wasn't so bad.
