Trust In Me~ I smiled. "I know." Pressing my nose to her shoulder one last time, I turned around and trotted back to Gift, ignoring Raven's wavering voice. I flicked my tail and nickered a greeting to Gift as I returned to my newly joined Herdmate. "Sorry about that, just need to make a head count of all my Mares." I shot her a friendly smile.
Mercury~ I smiled. "Good night." I murmured, bringing my head down to level with the ground, sniffing the grass. Closing my eyes, I let myself drift to sleep.

I'm plagued with several dreams as I sleep. One involved Russet, another Mercury, still another Mercury and I with a foal. The one that stands out the most vividly, though, is the one that I fear the most. In it, my knight-in-shining-armor is captured by humans and dies before my eyes. I instinctively scream, waking myself up in the process. A thin sheet of sweat has formed on my chocolate-colored coat, making it glisten in the light. I breathe a sigh of relief when I see Mercury lying beside me. Thank goodness it was only a dream.
Mercury~ I opened my eyes as I felt Jupiter stir beside me. She looked troubled, so I puzzled her shoulder with my nose and smiled at her. "You okay?" I asked, shifting positions so I could face her properly. She was beautiful in the moonlight, peaceful with her dark pelt glistening from the light of the moon.
