The white stallion's brown eyes grew wide as she nuzzled him. "Um... uh... thanks... I mean.... Your welcome!" He said quickly getting a bit tung tied. That almost never happened to him and he hated it when it did. As she turned away he did as well trying to regain his composer.

ift blinked her calm eyes. She walked up to Trust and nosed his chest. "Um.. do you have a herd?" She asked quietly. "May I join?" She inquired before softly looking up at the tall stallion. She smiled softly.

Raven watched the new mare just go and nuzzle him. She was disgusted. Turning she left with out another word. She couldn't bring her self to understand why but she didn't like this mare. No she hated her. She sighed and realized with defeat she had fallen for a stallion. A lone tear fell form her eye. She was weak, low and pathetic. And there was nothing she could do about it.

Trust In Me~ I smiled. "Woah there! One question at a time." I chuckled, swiveling my ears towards Raven as I heard her shuffling hoove steps. "Of course you can join my Herd. The more the merrier." I smiled warmly at my new Herdmate. "That's Raven, by the way." I nodded towards her. "She's just tagging along with me. Doesn't like to be bossed around." I gave a sigh as I looked at her silhouette slowly bob up and down as she walked away slowly. "Excuse me, a second." Tossing The forelocks out of my eyes, I turned away and trotted after Raven. She didn't at all look like the Mare she had been who had challenged me when I first met her. Her head was down, her step didn't hold that firmness it had. I pulled up to her side and nuzzled her shoulder. "You okay?" I asked, concern glittering my brown eyes.

Mercury~ Chuckling, I blinked. "Aren't you so smart. I'm lucky to have you." I pressed my side to hers, and let the warmth of her body seep through mine. "I love you too." I murmured.

Gift smiled. "Thank you Trust." She watched as he left to go after Raven. "I hope I didn't scare her away." She murmured quietly. She would like to be friends with someone. She wasn't a picky mare that always took the attention from the lead stallion. She sighed sadly. I'm just a burden to everyone.

The balck mare felt something at her shoulder and looked up to see trust at her side. She sighed again and looked away. "Yeah, I'm fine." She lied. Out of the corners of her eye she saw th other mare. She held her ring or. She tries to at least. "Don't worry about me. You know I can take care of my self," her voice wavered and he sounded like a weak little filly.

I shrug. "And I, you," I murmur, feeling the heat of Mercury's body warm my side. My eyelids begin to droop, and I fight to keep them open. After a short while, I give in. Resting my head on the grass, I succumb to sleep.

Trust In Me~ I smiled. "I know." Pressing my nose to her shoulder one last time, I turned around and trotted back to Gift, ignoring Raven's wavering voice. I flicked my tail and nickered a greeting to Gift as I returned to my newly joined Herdmate. "Sorry about that, just need to make a head count of all my Mares." I shot her a friendly smile.

Mercury~ I smiled. "Good night." I murmured, bringing my head down to level with the ground, sniffing the grass. Closing my eyes, I let myself drift to sleep.
