Raven looked between trust and the other stallion she still hadn't even tolled him how thankfully she was for him foghting off the cougar. He kept her head down and turned a bit getting ready to run.

Adare never took her eyes off Mercury. She snorted and replied. "Well, will you accept me?" She asked.

Mercury~ I looked up at the sky, watching the clouds drift lazily over us. "Maybe, I didn't have time to think about it." I dragged my hoof on the pond bottom, throwing up mud and sand in the water. The sun reflected off Adare's black coat, and Jupiter's scent filled my nose, sweet and filled with sunshine. "You know, maybe if you left me alone for a bit, I might be able to think."

"Oh ok.." Adare gave a flirty smile and cantered off back up the hill. She hoped he would accept her.

I pin my ears back at Adare, who seems to be doing everything she can to try and steal Mercury away from me. I don't know just who this mare thinks she is, but apparently Mercury feels the same way I do. I can't help but smile to myself when Mercury makes her go away. "She's really aggressive, isn't she?"

Mercury~ I snorted. "Aggressive? No. Annoying? Yes." My voice was flat, and my ears were pinned. Still, I shot quick glances at Jupiter out of the corner of my eyes, restraining myself from smiling. This Mare didn't need to know I felt the same way she did, that would just hurt my pride.

Trust In Me~ My hooves sunk into the sand beneath my feet, creating a sort of fence around them. Lifting them all up in turn, I moved them over, kicking up dirt and more sand in the water. My gashes hurt less now, all the blood washed away from them. Half-rearing, I splashed Raven as my front hooves slapped the water. "Sorry." I was smiling, warm and friendly.
