She sighed,"Okay,let's jsut stick with the blue fabric. The waters getting soggier and if we keep trying to figure this out,we won't be able to get there." she said grabbing the tarp and putting it at Kite's paws.

Lily's face scrunched up. "Maybe. I'll have to go look for something in the water again." She went back out, searching and searching. She hoped to find one of those metal things that human hunters carried around ((A knife)) that they used to cut the deer. But she found nothing of the like on the surface. She figured a sharp enough rock would be useful and dove into the water. The dead body of a buck passed her, and she was watching it go when she realized- the horns! She grasped the buck as best as she could and pulled it's head out of the water, wrinkling her nose. This animal should not have died like that. But she shook it off and called for Kite and Alexis. "I fould a buck... I figured we could use the horns... Maybe not.."

She rolled her eyes,"Okay,we have to move. NOW!" she barked. "The water is rising and we have to move."

"You guys might wanna rolled them up in the tarp, then, and have the edges in your teeth and swimming side by side. But keep the tarp really taught. I'll be behind you guys, so I can catch any if they fall out." She said.

Kite looked gravely at Alexis and then Lily and then her pups, and nodded. She licked each one again, just in case, and took them one by one, setting them on the tarp, and then rolled them up. "Shhhhhhh," she whispered to them as they whined. She grabbed one end of the tarp in her jaws, holding the ends tight so no water could get in.

(Defy that there would be no air in there for them after a while cx ignore that law of... airiness...i...tude!)

Lily squealed herself as she felt the water level rise around her ankle. "Hurry, hurry, hurry." She said urgently.

She did the same and wadded into the water,"Let's go quick." she said through the tarp. Her paws and legs kicking the water as she swam.

Lily got in after them, not splashing this time. She same at a nice pace in the middle and behind them, ready to lunge forward and grab any should they crawl out. She felt bad, hearing their little squeals.

Kite stumbled forward with Alexis, harder and harder to move her paws due to the rising water. She blinked floodwater and tears out of her eyes as she paddled. Her head almost dunked underwater, only saved by her nose, and she struggled back to the surface. How dumb am I!? she thought. I can't swim in conditions like this!!

Lily eyed Kite, ready to swoop in and save her, too, though she doubted she'd be able to.
