Mike looked around the room, shining his flashlight around, making sure there was nobody else in there.

Mike ignored the dog for a moment. He ran his flashlight over Summer. "There she is. You work on getting her free, making sure she's alright, i'll see the rest of the house." He ordered, taking his pistol from his belt and pointing it forward, putting back the flashlight and walking into the next dim-lit room.

Summer's eyes slowly flickered open as the flashlight hit them and Jaime suddenly appeared beside her. "Hey girl" she said in barely more than a whisper. She had heard Mike's voice and knew she was safe.

Mike walked into the room in which must've once been a bedroom, maybe the master. It had an old trashy matress, soggy papers thrown here and there. He then stepped into the bathroom, which was hardly a sight, but there was a horrid smell filtering into his nose. He looked through the cabinets. Nothing, No one. He walked back out into the main room and looked up at the staircase and sighed.
